This guy went ABOVE AND BEYOND he went totally out of his way to track down an item for me. He didnt just locate it for me in the store....he actually did me a huge favor. I cannot express how difficult it is to find this specific item is and how important it was that I purchase multiple.....which he helped me with. Top tier, 5 stars, heads above the rest, just stellar all the way!!”

“Ok, so Daiso gets five stars in my book - not only because they have cute little containers & organizers of just about every shape, size & material, they also have the necessary supplies to pack & ship just about any shape, size or material!
They also have quite a nice selection of finer dinnerware, cookware and the like, including folded steel knives, and quality ceramics.
But my favorite part of Daiso? They sell art gel ink acrylic colored pens INDIVIDUALLY! That is hands down the most economical and brilliant way to sell these kinds of pens! Because when one buys a pack of colored art pens? It’s inevitable that one would have a favorite color… and that pen would run out before all the others… and, you see where this goes. To be able to replace just the one or few that have run out without replacing the whole pack is fantastic!”

“This is one of my favorite stores in Chinatown, it's a lot like the Ben Franklin shops of my childhood. They have great toys, crafts, hardware, housewares, accessories, and pajamas and shoes, and snacks! They really do have everything. We get our house slippers here. You can't beat their prices and the owners are pleasant.”

“This is the best place to go for discount cleaning supplies, odds and ends for your kitchen and bathroom and especially Christmas decorations and wrapping supplies. “The problem w all Grocery outlet is that they don't care about people with mobility scooter ? they want the disabled to leave the mobility scooter out side. And the only way is get a lawyer and make them understand the ADA rules and that's on all stores Oakland / Richmond/ and San Pablo Ca they denied access for people with disabilitys.
So grocery outlets have fixed the problem with the mobility scooter ADA rules, at least 2 of them have.

They have more healthful foods as % of their canned, and likely un-canned, foods than a major (local, too) "dollar" store chain does. There are things that most shoppers will appreciate finding, and buy, here! And they do, but let's tell our social group about this not-prominent store!”

“Good selection of items, lots of Asian & Mexican foods. A little less convenient than other groceries for this user of a walker and public transport, since they only provide shopping carts and not those little baskets I can put on my walker and shop into. Busses right nearby but they seem to presume we use cars.”
