1 W Barrett Ave, Richmond“I can't say enough positive things about Traverse and the people who work there. My 11 year old daughter has been going for almost a year and a half and loves it. I highly recommend this gym for any parent with an active girl. This is a gym where girls can thrive alongside boys as equals.I agree with several other reviewers that the gym is clean, well run, has professional equipment which is expertly maintained. And that the owners are themselves Ninjas and can be found in TV episodes adds plenty of cred. But what is really the very best thing about Traverse is the way Alex creates good culture and the way he manages the Team. When you move beyond classes and join the Team, it's like a whole world opens up. There is space for achievement and the 4 principles are a magnificent practice for kids: Positivity, Persistence, Professionalism and Passion. Clearly the coaches have put a lot of deep thought into those principles and I've seen many Zen master style teaching moments happen (without being cheesy or overbearing). Alex even mediates when the kids get into conflict with each other and brings them into a state of mutual respect. If I could give 6 stars, I would.”
“My kids joined their boxing class. They are actually very excited for the class. Th coaches are firm but considerate when it comes to someone new and shy. I have observed their adult trainings as well, they work with you closely and most of all no judgement very welcoming.”

12260 San Pablo Ave suite b, Richmond“Good people, good coaches, come join the family. Always new people joining and putting in work, come try it with Master Cheetah and all the awesome folks here. No matter what level you are, no experience, hella experience, you will have a blast.”
“Bridges Fitness gym has changed my life. I’ve never been much of an indoor workout person until now. Trainers are super talented, providing you a tailored workout routine, beginning to end. I look forward to every class, which hasn’t repeated itself once. The music is always good (even the country ;) and clientele are super fun, sometimes I feel like I’m just at a fitness themed party! Happy 2year anniversary Rich!”

4920 McBryde Ave, Richmond“This gym is great! Been going here for about 2 years now and the strength gains are there - if you've never tried CrossFit, that's okay because the coaches here are great at meeting you where you're at.”
“I prefer this over El Cerrito location now, i only wish Richmond would extend their hrs back to being open 24 hrsWith limited staffing, they do a good job keeping things clean, working, and they are always friendly. Some of the equipment do need to be upgraded but I'll take dated equipment over the disrespecting members going to the el cerrito location now, any day.”
“I mean it's nice not really crowded but there is a lack of amenities other gyms have like a pool. Tbh I like it but they really need music just to drown out the noise of changing weights and stuff”
5AM - 11PM
4100 Klose Way, Richmond“Great gym with decent equipment and friendly staff, only 2 issues are the clientele is not very thoughtful so they don't put equipment back and they leave trash everywhere. It looks messy sometimes but they cleaning crew is always working to keep it clean. The gym needs to remind the clients to keep things clean and to put the equipment back.”
“Cypher is a fantastic gym with great vibes and uplifting energy. Coach Christina is such a gem! Me and my partner have had an awesome time working with her to get closer to the goals on our fitness road map.”
