“This Ross location is pretty great. When I go to most of these bargain clothing places like Ross and Marshall's, etc., they don't have many options in my size. This Ross had so many underpants packs options in my size that I was just flat-out overwhelmed! I got a namebrand 5-pack for 7$! What a deal!”

“I was warned before I arrived at China Lake that the exchange was small. The warning was true and it is small in size, but I am able to get so many things that I need way easier than going into crazy Wal-Mart. Everyday essentials, alcohol, snacks, even some clothing (Lucky Brand, Billabong). My kids two favorite stuffed animals came from this exchange. Found an amazingset of 4 dining room chairs (Ashley furniture) for a fraction of their original cost!! They had been leftover in the warehouse when they used to sell furniture. Seasonal items in stock like BBQs in summer and holiday gifts in the winter. Discounted greeting cards. I could go on. I do wish there could be more uniform items for female officers, but as there are so few of us here I completely get it. What I cannot find in person I just order online and ship to store for free. That way, I never have to worry about someone stealing boxes off my front steps. The staff are all amazing and personable. I will miss the convenience and connection I have when it is time to move on. Plus, I love that my money spent at the NEX goes back into MWR funds!”

“I used the dog bath facilities recently and found it very convenient, and definitely worth $9.99. It’s two bathing stations in one room, without separation, so if your dog isn’t cool around others, this could be a problem. We got lucky and had the room to ourselves. The price includes everything you would need, so you don’t have to bring anything. I’d suggest a collar as opposed to a harness because of the little hook up to keep your dog in the bath.”
