“Love the expansion of the Men's Big & Tall! We found some great sales and we're able to use a 30% off coupon on top of it.
The only negative is how hot it was in the store, apparently that is an ongoing issue. This needs to be fixed for your customers and employees.”

“This is a very unique store that has been here in Modesto for a long time. I stopped by recently and was glad to see it was still here. I was able to locate some twine I needed for a model project. One thing I never noticed before is that they have a new cooler of energy drinks and gatorade. $1 for an ice cold gatorade here. Friendly staff, one of Modesto's oldest stores - yet that in itself isn't really that much of a feat anymore. There are hundreds of businesses in Modesto that are going on 50-100 years in business. Local indies. This is one of those.”
“Very clean store, all staff are tentative and friendly. Variety of merchandise for anyone. Restrooms are clean and fully functional. There is plenty of parking available, even curbside! I recommend signing up for the rewards program.”
“Went into Kohls in Riverbank today with my mom to shop a little. Dana was absolutely amazing. She did all the things for us. She stopped what she was doing to help locate pants for us the store didn't have and then offered to order them from another store for us. She also helped my mom open up a credit card even though my mom just did the exchange. Amazing customer service!! Thank you so much Dana for making my mom's experience so easy. “This location is always busy, can sometimes be unorganized. Prices are decent. I mostly look for purses/bags, pet stuff, kitchen stuff, mugs and self care items. The store is mostly accessible by wheelchair although it can be difficult depending the amount of people”
“Arrived just before closing..as we walked in the store alarm began alerts. In fear of what the alarm was, the management informs staff the back door had been breached by other guest RUNNING out with merchandise thru back door.My symphony to Sales/management for dealing with a society that thinks this is acceptable?”
“I recently visited Kohls in Manteca with my two younger granddaughters; they wanted to go to Sephora. The store was clean and I found what I wanted as well as my granddaughter ers and the cashiers are always friendly and always makes small talk with you.”

“Just like any other Ross. I wish they had more variety of clothing items for Me but that's typical of department stores like Ross or TJMaxx. Their selection of little furniture and stuff is super cute and nice looking, but the prices are insane! This is Manteca for crying out loud - who's going to spend $160 on a Dog bed or drop three bills on a Coach bag.. at a Ross.. in Manteca. But like I mentioned they do have some great stuff you'll find around the store at great prices.”
“My husband and I have shopped here about ten times in the past few years. This particular time on 09/08/2024, we were helped in the jewelry department by an associate named "Gwen." We weren't purchasing jewelry. I had found some items in the accessory department. But we had purchased black out curtains prior to. Gwen was so friendly with my husband and I talking about sports. She helped us use our phones to go online and collect coupons. We were really impressed with her persistence in instructing us. We will definitely be back do to her awesome customer service! “Target is a one-stop shop for my family! We love grabbing a Starbucks drink while browsing the aisles. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and their return policy is hassle-free (like when I recently replaced two items).
Target brands like Good & Gather and Figmint are a lifesaver! They offer high-quality products at affordable prices. We even found some of our wedding clothes here, and it's our go-to store for toiletries, medicine, kitchenware, and groceries.

“We went to Walmart and upon paying at self check out we couldn't remember are pin for the card used so one of the guys working at Wal-Mart saw that my husband really loved the shirt we were wanting to buy, so the employee whose name I cant disclose only can say his name starts with a "L" bought the shirt for my honey . Its a wonderful blessing to have good people still around. God has angels everywhere even working in Wal-Mart on McHenry Ave Modesto. We plan on giving the man back his money with

This Walmart store in Modesto, on McHenry, has the nicest employees. When I arrive to shop at 6 am, the shelves are fully stocked and the floors are clean. The entire store looks great. The clothes are perfectly folded. Can't find an item? I ask an employee, they are pleasant and walk me to the location. Last time there I was pleasantly surprised to find a paper copy of The Epoch Times for sale...Go Walmart! That is a pro American newspaper. Thank you to the manager and all the wonderful people at this Walmart.”
“A HAPPY CUSTOMER ? I am literally at the store doing this review. I love this store. It has so many items to choose from. It's great value of prices. I bumped into one of the employees by accident. She was so nice about it and kindly guided me to the kitchen items and bathroom. She was very friendly. Yes, customer service on the registers are a little overwhelmed. It is understanding due to them being super busy, they did just open! they are so overwhelmed. Hopefully in the future all this changes and they get more help, because on opening day their is so manny customers. “This store was clean and organized AND HAD CASHIERS READY TO GET CUSTOMERS IN AND OUT. LOVED IT. Went on my lunch break , I found what I needed, got in line, didn't wait but 2-3 minutes, and they had me on my way. I even had time to grab a bite to eat. Keep up the great service Ross off of Sisk!!”
“This review is mainly for the store itself and for the items available. Won't go into the customer service part 'cause we all pretty much have a general idea already what customer service is like from other reviews and experiences. This appears to be the latest and greatest Walmart in all of Modesto, considering there are a total of 3 Walmarts in Modesto. This Super Center on McHenry Ave, another Super Center (1st ever Walmart in Modesto) on Plaza Pkwy, and a new Neighborhood Walmart on coffee Rd. I like this one the best as it seems to be the most organized Super Center with a wide variety of things available ranging from food, beverages automotive, houseware, health/personal items, sports, outdoors, clothings/shoes, etc.”
