“This is a very unique store that has been here in Modesto for a long time. I stopped by recently and was glad to see it was still here. I was able to locate some twine I needed for a model project. One thing I never noticed before is that they have a new cooler of energy drinks and gatorade. $1 for an ice cold gatorade here. Friendly staff, one of Modesto's oldest stores - yet that in itself isn't really that much of a feat anymore. There are hundreds of businesses in Modesto that are going on 50-100 years in business. Local indies. This is one of those.”

“Was shopping for a lunch bag here and when I got to the cashier, she made sure that all the contents were in there like the free Tupperware and utensils were included so that I had the whole set. I didn’t even know it had those items inside the lunch bag, just saw that it was nice and what I needed but she made sure I had everything!”

“A favorite store with a wide range of clothing and accessories. Prior season and mixed sizes keep prices low for department store level products. Single line multi-cashier checkout keeps things moving.”
“Love the expansion of the Men's Big & Tall! We found some great sales and we're able to use a 30% off coupon on top of it.
The only negative is how hot it was in the store, apparently that is an ongoing issue. This needs to be fixed for your customers and employees.”
“Arrived just before closing..as we walked in the store alarm began alerts. In fear of what the alarm was, the management informs staff the back door had been breached by other guest RUNNING out with merchandise thru back door.My symphony to Sales/management for dealing with a society that thinks this is acceptable?”
“Very clean store, all staff are tentative and friendly. Variety of merchandise for anyone. Restrooms are clean and fully functional. There is plenty of parking available, even curbside! I recommend signing up for the rewards program.”
“Went into Kohls in Riverbank today with my mom to shop a little. Dana was absolutely amazing. She did all the things for us. She stopped what she was doing to help locate pants for us the store didn't have and then offered to order them from another store for us. She also helped my mom open up a credit card even though my mom just did the exchange. Amazing customer service!! Thank you so much Dana for making my mom's experience so easy. Also, thanks for the tip on the restaurant ?”

“This location is always busy, can sometimes be unorganized. Prices are decent. I mostly look for purses/bags, pet stuff, kitchen stuff, mugs and self care items. The store is mostly accessible by wheelchair although it can be difficult depending the amount of people”
“A while back I had thought this place was not going to be around much longer. I was wrong. Not only are they still here, they have improved. My hats off to the management and associates for making this store the way it is. Thanks.”
“I recently visited Kohls in Manteca with my two younger granddaughters; they wanted to go to Sephora. The store was clean and I found what I wanted as well as my granddaughter ers and the cashiers are always friendly and always makes small talk with you.”
“Love this store. Always neat and orderly but the security girl in the front always mean mugs you, and she's always on the phone. She's just not pleasant.”

“Just like any other Ross. I wish they had more variety of clothing items for Me but that's typical of department stores like Ross or TJMaxx. Their selection of little furniture and stuff is super cute and nice looking, but the prices are insane! This is Manteca for crying out loud - who's going to spend $160 on a Dog bed or drop three bills on a Coach bag.. at a Ross.. in Manteca. But like I mentioned they do have some great stuff you'll find around the store at great prices.”
“I have always liked this shopping Center. It's the only Mall that Modesto has. I have certain stores that I love to shop at. Macy's is one of these stores. I love my Mac Make up and the shoes and purses etc etc. The bathrooms are always clean, it's such a nice store. I just hope that this Macy's store will stay open for a very very very long time ? ”

“Bargains, deals and steals! Love going to this location as it's a huge store and the variety of goods available is always changing. I must say though that sometimes the checkout line is long so go with time and don't be in a rush to get in and out”

“Parking lot and exterior of store is clean. Inside store is well-kept and tidy, making it easy to locate what I need each trip. Staff is incredibly helpful, courteous and professional. The wait-time to checkout my items was quick.”
“Target is a one-stop shop for my family! We love grabbing a Starbucks drink while browsing the aisles. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and their return policy is hassle-free (like when I recently replaced two items).
Target brands like Good & Gather and Figmint are a lifesaver! They offer high-quality products at affordable prices. We even found some of our wedding clothes here, and it's our go-to store for toiletries, medicine, kitchenware, and groceries.

“This store was clean and organized AND HAD CASHIERS READY TO GET CUSTOMERS IN AND OUT. LOVED IT. Went on my lunch break , I found what I needed, got in line, didn't wait but 2-3 minutes, and they had me on my way. I even had time to grab a bite to eat. Keep up the great service Ross off of Sisk!!”
“Walmart has become my go-to for it's the nearest! I head there weekly for my shopping needs, and it's always a positive experience. They have amazing deals, like the dollar bread, and their Foster Farms chicken is top-notch.

“I want to recognize Susan at the Optical department at the Manteca Target for the excellent service they provided to me. One of my lenses fell out of my eye glasses and I had difficulty seeing without my glasses. Since I had an order to pickup there I decided to go in and see if they could pop the lens back. They had asked if I had purchased the glasses there and I told them no and explained that the Optometrist where I purchased would not be able to see me until Monday afternoon. Susan looked at the glasses and said no problem and even replaced my nose pads at no charge for the service. Not very often you find this kind of customer service. I highly recommend them and give them a 5 Star.”
“Stopped in today after visiting several other targets with no luck, i was looking for a specific shirt that was sold out every where. Drove 45 mins just to find it and id like to Happily thank your Employee Cierra for the help and going the extra mile to even go in the back and find my size. She could of been like the others from the different targets and told me no but she went in the back found it and just made my day! Id like to let her know she made my wife and I today some very happy customers!! She was Awesome”

“This review is mainly for the store itself and for the items available. Won't go into the customer service part 'cause we all pretty much have a general idea already what customer service is like from other reviews and experiences. This appears to be the latest and greatest Walmart in all of Modesto, considering there are a total of 3 Walmarts in Modesto. This Super Center on McHenry Ave, another Super Center (1st ever Walmart in Modesto) on Plaza Pkwy, and a new Neighborhood Walmart on coffee Rd. I like this one the best as it seems to be the most organized Super Center with a wide variety of things available ranging from food, beverages automotive, houseware, health/personal items, sports, outdoors, clothings/shoes, etc.”
“I went this am to get a carpet cleaner (locked) walked around to look for help.. lady on a ladder tells me push the button because she doesn't have keys (okay) I didn't see it but went back pushed it, after a few minutes nothing... 2 associates walk by ummm yeah I'll be back (NOTHING) so 3 people now know I'm standing there I push the button again and nothing. Finally a older gentleman named William walks by I asked him if he could help me sure I'll be right back :| my surprise he returned helped me and offered to carry it back to the register I kindly declined . William thank you for being what these young workers should be KIND. 5 stars go to WILLAM not the experience”
