While I was shopping, the store’s system went down, and customers who didn’t have cash were unable to complete their purchases. Instead of simply turning us away, Mario went above and beyond. He bagged our items, took down our names and phone numbers, and once the system was back up, he personally called us to let us know we could come back and complete our purchases.
It’s not always just about doing your job it’s about going above and beyond, and Mario did exactly that. Great customer service makes such a difference, especially in situations that are outside of an employee’s control.
