It's a small town but very relaxing well for me I grew up in the country so I can relate to it we had lunch at two places I wish I can remember the name of the place it was back in August 3rd or4 it there is a toco place just up the street very good food and right nextdoor we ate a there signature signature sandwich very good thank you .To the young man I talk to at the store thank you for talking to me made me feel welcome like I told you I will be back good thing you move down to live here maybe a first you didi want to like we talk about . No one like to change we get comfortable how we are and don't see the out look of life but you made that choice and you live there you made decision. “From the outside, this place looks like every other convenience/liquor store in the San Joaquin Valley. But once inside, and once you talk to the staff, you soon realize that this is a diamond in the rough. A surprising amount of merchandise is on hand, most of it standard convenience/liquor store fare, like cigarettes, liquor, chips, candy, lottery tickets, etc, but look a bit further and you'll also find t-shirts, more expensive bottles of alcohol, and of course, the most reliable Western Union service in all of Riverbank. And the staff is super-duper friendly! Sounds odd, but whenever I'm in Riverbank, I ALWAYS make it a point to stop in and say hi to the staff of Star Market.”

“I asked for 5 bucks in gas and added 50 cents to the gas purchase from the change left over from other stuff I purchased and the clerk made a mistake and put 55 cent on the pump I corrected the clerk and I went to pump the 4.95 that should have been on the pump and got squirrelled by a 4x4 and it's proud owner who bragged about it and 50 dollars later I noticed that I received a full tank they let me pay it back in full when my disability check came. Very good customer service and they are great for the neighborhood”
