“This is my local store. Very friendly staff. Clean operation. This store just seems to have less stock and variety as other stores in the area. Rocklin and Auburn seem to have a lot more stock and options on the shelves. But it's close and convenient and prices are nice!”
“I was in the store yesterday picking up a coconut cake I ordered a few days ago. The Baker was already gone for the day so when I picked it up, it wasn’t what I expected. I stared to get very upset!!! I expected it to have coconut all over the outside, but it looked like a basic white cake. (Long back story about the coconut cake… too much to type) Anyway, I started to get upset with the nice young lady so she got the manager… Serena (spells it differently). Serena listened to me complain and she calmed me down! Since we were not sure if it was a white cake or a coconut— she gave me the cake for free! Great customer service!!!
Update— it was coconut ? and it was delicious!!! ??”
“Always have a great, friendly staff here- and they call me by my name each time I come in. I have never been to a better pharmacy. I have another pharmacy one minutes from me, but I travel to this one because of their great customer care!”
“I go to the Safeway on sunset regularly and it’s always very clean and the employees are very nice. I especially love the deli department. Narinder always greets me with a smile and is so sweet. She always makes the best sandwiches and salads. Thank you for having such an awesome employee.”

“Its a little after 6pm on 11/13/20. I just left this Wal-Mart location, it is the first time in a while that I have shopped at Wal-Mart. I have to say although the shopping experience was great....I am giving this review because of an employee named Roberta who helped me at one of the shop and go check out lanes. I was struggling a bit and I noticed not only was she helping others, but she went above and beyond to help me...and quickly! Perfect example of what great customer service should be!”
“Clean Safeway store. Good looking produce. Meat looks fresh and good cuts. Average amount of foot traffic. If you sign up for savings it will be very beneficial. The cost of food is very high right now so I recommend using the online app to help save money. Employees are nice and positive. 4 stars due to the prices being so high.”
“Beautifully made!! I got 4 cupcake bouquets for gifts and the recipients loved them! Just be aware these bouquets in the boxes are huge (a dozen cupcakes each) and an empty shopping cart can only fit 2. They didn’t list the holiday versions online so you have to order in person from the catalog. This location’s bakery also closes early on certain days around 5pm.”
“The store is Rocklin looks great with the new merchandise displays. Very organized and updated. Women's clothing department was wonderful and so many jeans/pants to choose from. Really enjoyed shopping there.”
“We have been shopping at this store for many years and usually receive great service and high-quality products. It is our nearest supermarket, and overall we are very happy with it.
However, there is one employee who consistently leaves a negative impression. During my last visit, he packed groceries very carelessly and with visible irritation, throwing items into my bags and ignoring basic logic. When I politely asked to move some groceries to another bag, his reaction felt passive-aggressive and unwelcoming.
It was disappointing, as this behavior does not reflect the high standards of service we normally experience here. I hope management will address this, as one employee should not spoil an otherwise excellent store.”
