“I have been using grocery pick up at Safeway for a few years now. Honestly, I would call myself a regular pick up customer, I know some of the employees who bring my groceries out by name. The grocery pick up has been a huge blessing for me. I stuggle with social anxiety, so being able to choose the products I need and not have to be around a whole lot of other people is fantastic.I have tried the Walmart grocery pick up and only have bad experiences... Specificlly the quality of the produce... At Safeway on 2220 Sunset Blvd I have NEVER had that problem, the produce chosen for me has always been quality produce and I greatly appreciate that.I have nothing but good things to say about grocery pick up, every employee who has brought my groceries out to my car has been friendly and professional... There are 3 employees who I usually see and honestly, the brief conversation with each of them makes me smile... Molly has always been friendly and fabulous, even on those rainy day that I show up and she loads the groceries into my vehicle. There is another regular and I wish I knew her name.... I usually see her in the mornings, I do remember she brought my groceries to me Sunday January 14th... anyway she has also always been awesome. Joey is the other employee I usually see, He brought me my groceries Friday January 19th. I really want to mention that one because I placed my order Thursday evening on my Safeway app... When I went to choose a time I noticed pick ups started at 7am which was an hour earlier than usual. So, I chose the 7am slot. I pulled into the parking lot just a little before 7. Joey brought my stuff to my vehicle and was friendly and professional (as always) I get that mornings are hard, and for Joey to be cheerful that early in the morning when it's dark and cold outside was delightful.Oh, I actually do have one negative thing to say about grocery pick up.... It is so irritating when other customers decide the rules don't apply to them and park in the pick up spots.”

I had the pleasure of dealing with LEAH who went above & beyond to take care of me in my time of need .. she had me come right down & pulled 90 gift cards off the shelf & proceeded to activate each one in a timely matter counting back each one as well as double checking price & accuracy on top of helping multiple other customers who were wanting Carpet Machine Rentals, Money Orders, & Western Union transactions etc and patiently one by one she helped them with a smile in between my transactions. “Not my go to grocery store but still very convenient location. The staff is friendly and I've never had any issues. The selection of produce is good, but not great. Everything else is well stocked but the variety is lacking but that could be due to the smaller store size. They do have specials from time to time on alcohol so there's a plus.”
“Tony was a wonderful cashier at the self check out stations. First I started wondering off to the new self check outs that were not working yet because this location is being remodeled, and he kindly told me so. Next I told Tony that I couldn't see a barcode on my gift bag. He didn't make me go get the same bag which was wonderful customer service, he gave me the gift bag for $2.00 because I truly didn't know the price. Thank you once again Tony for great customer service! Much appreciated!”

“Richard at the Stanford Ranch Save Mart is a ROCK STAR!! I asked about a select bourbon I was interested in, but could not find it on the shelf. Richard, who has been with Save Mart since 1979, knew right where to find it!! Since the product was in the back, Richard could have easily said it is out of stock. Instead, Richard took the time stop what he was doing to find the item for me. It is this level of service that sets Save Mart apart from its competitors. I love shopping where the customer is respected and cared for. Richard is a great example of why Save Mart Stanford Ranch is the BEST place to shop. If I have any wine or liquor questions, I always know Richard will have the answer. Thank you, Richard!!”

“Let me just say this. This gas station used to be the one I and others avoided because it was not run well and not maintained. The new owners have done an amazing job at remodeling the store, obtaining a new liquor license, and having great customer service. They have earned my continued business over other convenience stores at a time where great customer service is not so common anymore!”

I have to say although the shopping experience was great....I am giving this review because of an employee named Roberta who helped me at one of the shop and go check out lanes. “I needed to order a custom photo. Ake for my boyfriend's upcoming birthday. I drove around to get quotes and availability from multiple bakeries in the rocklin/roseville area. After being told no at multiple locations, and even being interrupted mid-sentence by a manager while discussing options with a bakery clerk, I was beyond thrilled with the staff at this Safeway's bakery. Both the gentleman who I initially got a quote from and the lovely lady (manager of the bakery, I believe) who took the order and made it were absolutely wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They made the cake better than we imagined, and even unsold us on an extra bar car by genuinely listening to what we were looking for and relaying a similar type of cake would be on special the day of pick-up for the order. The courtesy clerk and bagger were both extremely friendly too. Beyond happy with the service and order, and would reccomend yo anyone looking for a custom cake!”
