They also tried to find me a bottle of hand sanitizer that I could buy, but they had ran out. I thought it was nice that they tried.”

“I was at the park for a walk and needed to refuel. Was I was just going to stop in to Subway but couldn't figure me it, lol. I drive by Marina Market and saw the sign for sandwiches so went in. I had a Turkey and pepper jack on sliced sour dough... excellent! Hand built and did not skimp on the ingredients. Tasty and fresh!!”

“It might sound silly but this is one of my favorite stores ever. I've been a regular customer forever. I was playing a video game here during the 89 earthquake and barely noticed before the machine almost tipped over. Being pretty close to the county hospital they have to deal with more than their fare share of of the mentally divergent and homeless which with they do with understanding and patience. The times that I am broke and really need something they have always had my back. It might not be fancy but they are honest and dependable. They have affordable quality products with a pretty decent selection. They are exactly what you should expect from your local corner convenient mart. Not the place to do your weekly grocery shopping but the perfect place to grab a few things you need on the way home.”

“They had what I needed for a reasonable price too. The guy inside was nice, people in the area not so much lol. Ran across this by chance it's a hole in the wall definitely worth checking out for the simple corner store things, & it's quick. Only thing I didn't like is, you will totally bottom out your car pulling in and out if you're not paying attention, it's all bumpy concrete. Other than that I'd go back :)!”

“Been coming here for years. At $8 High Tech car wash, it's worth it. My favorite is there's one or two guys manually brushing your car before you actually enter the mechanical car wash so that the stubborn dirt will be cleaned properly.”

“They have propane exchange here. Full service gasoline means THEY pump the gas for you, NOT that they have all types of gas.What a small world, I know these people from elsewhere, as shop keepers, sellers of things at another gas and food locale. Happy to see them expanding or running other business. I don't know what others think, but they are good people, I've never had an issue with quality, honesty, service past what is expected or posted, and if given the choice of them or someone I don't know I'd go here. That said, prices are decent, place is clean, things work, I've always been able to get a coffee at any time of day or night a I thank them for this very very much. The locals are at times past nuts, looney tunes dope smoking dancing and singing in it doesn't matter the temp or anything, they on one and it's good, but if you there when they realize they have no more and they dont have the funds either..... smile nod or say incoherent "I dun know bout that now ya hear now" like it was a mantra, get to the car and DRIVE!”

“I like coming here especially after I am done with my appointments at Kaiser Permanente Hospital right across the street. I buy lottery and gas here. They used to sell alcoholic beverages but they lost their license about 2 or 3 years ago. Which is why they now have Krispy Krunchy Chicken taking up the empty space.Jimmy, the proprietor, is a nice man. So was his quiet, beautiful wife Helen. Sadly, she died of cancer less than a year ago. She was still young, in her late 50s or early 60s! ?”

“The best liquor/corner store in Benicia My friend and i hit up 5 different stores looking for a certain type of soda (Faygo) When we walked in, the associates offered us assistance and we asked them if they carried it They assisted us and thoroughly checked their inventory and we ended up finding what we were looking for They even offered to pour it up in cup with ice for us and I was surprised by the low price I paid for 4 drinks Overall a great shop with great service and great selections”

They know us by name and joke with us, since my bf and I come separately a lot, after work on our way home.We spend a lot of money here, and they will ask us what they're missing, if I can't find what I came for, and will even order things in that they know we specifically want. “This is a convenient location for locals being centrally located in town. I was so happy when he added the chicken to his operation. The chicken and sides are really good it is hard to walk inside and smell the chicken without wanting to leave with some. It is usually cooked fresh when ordered but even if it is already prepared I have never received it when it wasn't fresh. The chicken is great and you have to try the biscuits they are so good. The owner can be a little unpredictable as far as his moods sometimes he is friendly other times he is on the edge of downright rude.I have also been overcharged there once or twice. After I left I would think it wasn't right and went over the costs in my head and realized I was over charged at times his prices aren't consistent. Seems as though he is rounding up and he seems to do this when he is in one of his moods. However I still shop there the prices are reasonable for a convenient store. He has a great inventory and of course the chicken is great as well as the shop is exceptionally clean. I am used to his moody personality but he did lose a whole star because of this, it is understandable to have your good and bad days, but he seems to have one to many and at times he has been so rude it was hurtful.”
