“Great service as usual on this rainy 18 Dec 2023 afternoon. All your sand bag and flood mgt needs are here. A few sizes of the Quick Dam products. 50# bags of playground sand. You can grab a tag and just one bag then tell the cashier the total number of bags you want and someone will bring all those 50# bags out to your car/truck for you and load them in. They also have sand bags if you need those too. Hello El Niño Winter!”

Jay, the owner, and other employees have always been respectful, helpful... never condescending as I'd experienced in other hardware stores which I thought was because I was female and seemingly stressed.”

“The woman that started helping us was very sassy and a bit dismissive, but sometimes you gotta kill people with kindness. A couple of jokes and some interest in her day, and we were off and running. The store doesn't get as many people as Home Depot, so you don't have the same lines and prices are competitive and comparable. The store is cleaner and the parking lot is not filled with people looking for work or shady people looking to rip off your car.”

“Went there on a rainy windy night to pick up a bath tub half an hour before the store was closing. Super grateful for the security guard, Columbus, who went above and beyond his job duties to help us put the tub into the truck. He was so kind and thoughtful to tell me to stay under the covering so that I did not get wet in the rain. Nicest security I’ve ever encountered at Vallejo. Five star rating on his excellent customer service. ??”

“This store seems to have a bad reputation. I think that if you are fortunate enough to run into an associate that takes pride in their customer service, such as Angel in the pro dept, or Michelle in blinds,or the paint dept team, Gary, Marcel, Karina and the others then I would bet dollars to donut holes that you had a very nice shopping experience.”

“Excellent service great people.little.pricey but good at first both guys in front counter seemed bothered by the. Questions I was asking as if km supposed to.know everything about the store and items they sale can see how if I'm was not a contractor this would not be the place I want to visit not supper nice even a little.rude at first richard came to help after the first guy look frustrated about my.questions all I wanted was to know about some colors for concrete most places have it by name but here that are sorted by number so I didn't know this Richard took more time.to.explain to me the difference and prices and such ended up spending over 300 dollars in tools and stuff... again not very friendly but ok place to buy I saw some regulars came in and the guy was kicking around with them and stuff I think he just doesn't like to.deal with people that has questions which sucks because that's why you should go to a place that specializes in stuff like this”

“I love Acapulco Rock and Soil.I am a contractor, things come up last minute for us all and I know I got Acapulco in my arsenal to get things done.They keep inventory stocked.They are extremely responsive.The ladies in the office have the system down as perfect as can be. Hiccups happen with everyone, Acapulco is quick to fix.There are other options nearby, but nobody can beat how they do business.”

“We came in today in the afternoon looking to purchase moving blankets and a dolly ! I came across this amazing employee named Quilla ! She was friendly , greeted me with a smile and even went above and beyond to try and help us locate the items we were looking to purchase - unfortunately you did not have these items in stock but I do have to say I wish all people were as great as quilla - what a amazing human being she is and when I come back I'm looking for her as she gives excellent guest service ! I highly recommend this business - great customer service is utmost important to me - again I highly recommend this store”

“We visited on 7/10/23, looking for a length of flexible spa hose to finish setting up a hot tub in our backyard. We had already gone to one Home Depot and had issues. We located the hose in question, but wanted to buy per-foot, rather than an entire roll of hose. This was something they had a SKU for, but they didn't have 8 feet of loose tubing for us. Eventually, we took the roll up to check out and explained the situation to Sylvia. Other places might insist that we buy the entire roll. Instead, she stuck with us, and found Jose, who could do the cutting we needed.Thank you to Sylvia and Jose for going above and beyond in order to make it work. It took a little while to get the right people, but they didn't abandon us, and they made sure to keep with it until we had resolution.”

“I believe her name was Nessa (she had a COACH patch near her name) at the customer service counter today January 15th around 1:45 was super pleasant and kind, she asked Adam to help me to my car, I had 8 huge bags of potting soil and my 4 year old with me.
