“I can spend a whole day here just admiring all the beautiful plants and trinkets. I have a weakness for succulents! I had a terrarium custom made with a drift wood base as a gift for a client, she loved it! They also offer terrarium workshops, which would be a really fun idea for a girls night or small group gathering. I absolutely adore this place, if you’re a plant lover or are just in need of a unique gift you have to check this place out!”
“This is one of the best nurseries I have ever been to. Truly a hidden gem tucked in between the gorgeous farmlands of Sonoma county?
I'll admit I may be a little biased since they seem to specialize in the kind of stuff I personally am most interested in? but for any other succulent and bonsai enthusiasts out there definitely keep this place bright on your radar if you're ever passing through the historic gravenstein highway just south of Sebastopol?
What makes this place stand out to me especially is that they propagate their stock in house? They have a few greenhouses packed full of gorgeous, some even more rare plants, and plenty more blocked off from customers with even more stock that they rotate out throughout the year. Just peeking in I could see such amazingly grown succulents just waiting for their time to soak in the sunshine of your garden/collection?
I feel so lucky to have moved just up the street from here. I'll have to do my best to pace myself? but even just coming through and admiring the rows upon rows of vibrant bonsais in such pleasing plantings will have you leaving so inspired and filled with love for beautiful plants?”
“I'm speechless. Rare for me. I have traveled the world, visited every state in the US, gardened all my life, always had large yards filled with nature. I moved to Petaluma CA 3 months ago from Hawaii. When I decided to create a new garden in a new town I visited 3 local nurseries. This was my last stop and it will not be my last time here. I AM STUNNED BREATHLESS BY THE MAGNITUDE OF THIS GARDEN. The thought, planning and love that created this paradise is beyond description. So just enjoy a very few of the heavenly beauties available for purchase. Maybe I died and in Heaven?”

“OK so I need some bamboo. I knew nada regarding bamboo and was calling around Napa nurseries and given the solid 411 to call Jungle Bamboo. What a jungle delight the 2 Andys are, fine humans with a wealth of bamboo knowledge! They set me up right with some life stories.....hilarious and then the right bamboo, "clumping bamboo" took the 5, 16 footers home and Voila! Fantastic privacy from the peeky neighbors. “Happened upon this store and didn't realize until I was inside that this is THE Baker Creek seed store. Like a kid in a candy shop, I marveled at all the seed packets and seed starting materials. What a lovely place with a lot of great information and items!”
“I love this plant shop. They have a great selection of outdoor and indoor plants. They also have a huge selection of outdoor plant pots that are super cute. Their indoor selection is great to. Knowledge of the staff for indoor plants was ok but I did find a guy that worked in the outdoor plant area that was great. They don’t have selection of rare plants so if that is your thing I would try a different place. I have a few of their indoor pots and they are cute. They are a bit on the pricey side, but that is just me. They also have a good variety of decor stuff if that is your thing.”

“Great place to take your yard waste, with super affordable pricing. I went to the dump on santa rosa Avenue, and they wanted $85. At grab and grow it cost $20. It's nice that the yard wate is recycled into mulch and other products.”
“I’m terrible with names but the woman who works up front is the nicest and coolest person in the whole place. There is one younger mechanic guy who is cool but I don’t know if he’s even there anymore. Either way I like the place and I’ll keep going there.”

“Jeremy at Santa Rosa Home Depot has helped us out twice: once with plumbing and another time with getting keys made. But I'm sure he's not limited to that. He seems to be a very capable guy. What really stood out is that went out of his way each time to make sure we got what we were looking for. He didn't just point us in the right direction of a part. He made our task, his task. He was also knowledgeable, efficient, polite, and friendly. But it really stood out that he went the extra mile and invested himself in making sure our project, whatever it was, was a success. “I have had a unexpected challenges in completing a front porch project due to incorrect product, insufficient product, and lack of response from my original provider. I went into Home Depot and was immediately helped by an employee to locate my options in the store. He then introduced me to Tammy Stephens, one of the Pros. She walked me through design options and gave me her card to have my contractor send her the measurements. It could not have been an easier or more enjoyable process, especially after having this project drag out over a month. I would highly recommend this store and working with its Pros.
