“Definitely pay attention to the price points, things can be a bit confusing. They do have signs with the price configurations but it's still confusing. I went for items for wine tasting. They have nice glasses & flutes, both glass and plastic. The glass ones had this iridescent shine, & the plastic ones were heavy duty definitely can see them lasting if they get dropped. I settled for the plastic. They had so much other stuff, I got some cards and envelopes. They had nice boards from charcuterie possibly. I decided to get a coffee too (terrible decision the coffee was horrible). Definitely will be back for party favors!”
“And they have the 20% off it is great! Also if you're a Big Lots member after three purchases you get $5 off $15.I always get Big Lots brand toilet paper. It is great value at $5.40 for 12 rolls. And with your discount it's an even better deal. The people that work there are really nice and helpful! Are spices are a great deal for the size and cost as well as coconut oil.”
“Love the stuff they have especially for the prices. The cleaning supplies are amazing. They had the photographed scraper. I had to use it to remove very old drawer liner that ripped into small really stuck pieces. It worked great. They also have Lil brushes that are really good at cleaning between the faucet knob and the faucet itself. They have gift wrap and bags, coin purses, reusable shopping bags, socks, school supplies, arts and crafts supplies, camping supplies, kitchen utensils, storage containers, stickers, yard and gardening supplies, toys, pet supplies, snacks and some food, cold drinks, bathroom and hygiene supplies. Best of all it starts at $1.50.”
“It was POURING RAIN which is unusual for Redondo Beach. I ran into kohl's hoping to find boots for my daughter. The only pair in black her size was the display.. but only 1 side was there. . I looked everywhere in the section and then Regina. Saw me searching and ask if she ould help me find what I was looking for, so I asked for her assistance... she called Lina to help and within minutes Lina found them God knows where. . I was promptly checked out, got good use of my kohl's cash and was happy. Thank you Regina and Lina!”

“Marshalls is a great store for the San Pedro/ Palos Verdes community. It is lower to the mid-range for prices and seems to be well-stocked. I really like their shoe department. I recently bought four pairs of shoes there because they were a fraction of the cost compared to online shoe store prices. Their home goods department also is great for gifts.”
“What an interesting store!!! Love it!!!! I remember going years ago to pick up Girl Scout uniforms and badges. I think it's the only outfit in town. It also has work clothes, windbreakers, vintage pajamas and miscellaneous items that I find intriguing. I can't wait to go back!”

“IF you guys are ever on the need of a great, I MEAN great customer service AND help with perfume or cologne do yourself a favor and see EDWARD. He's a good "colongnier" (if such a word exists). He WILL have the perfect cologne smell for either men or women. He helped my wife and I narrow down the perfect smell with the Jo Malone fragrances. On top of this, he WILL take his time to help you 1-1 and go over all options he can think of. He won't rush you like other do. Last but not least.... “If you would like the ultimate American (maybe more Californian) cultural experience come visit Hawthorne Burlington! I arrived at around 3:50pm on a Saturday and was greeted by the bouncer (loss prevention) who told me to smile for the camera before she unlatched the velvet rope (retractable partitions). Dressing rooms are no longer open or staffed but if you do manage to find a piece of clothing you like in a sea of hot mess, there are two cashiers available to take payment from people who actually decided to do a good deed today and pay the store instead of just walking out nonchantly despite the "we prosecute shoplifters" signs. Ok, here I am the sucker waiting in line to pay enjoying the ambiance of this loud ringing alarm coming from the back emergency exit, noticing the line is slowing down because we lost a cashier who went to chase down some shoftlifters (somebody pay this lady more please!) What a ride, and unlike in Disneyland Splash Mountain, I would love to purchase my reaction photo from Burlington Loss Prevention to capture memory of this epic experience.”

Leila customized a beautiful Guadalupe skateboard for my niece with the coolest satin black trucks, the smoothest bearings and white wheels; talk about a nice ride - love the grip tape and mix black and red hardware to match Guadalupe and trucks. She made my niece very happy. 3 days later she still loving her board and goes everywhere with it.”

Even though I bogged her down with this order, she was still attentive to the other customers and greeted everyone. I was shocked find out she was new! I would have thought she had been working there longer. I am going to shop there more and spend twice as much money than I would have.”
