“The most excellent service in recent memory was provided by furniture department manager, Andrew, at this Big Lots location. He explained the difference between furniture brands, the pros and cons of mattress selection in particular. His advice helped me to see the value and importance in investing in the long term by getting the better quality, (tho more expensive) brands. This was a lesson that my grandfather taught me decades ago, but that had somehow with all these commercials these days had slipped my mind. Bottom line, talk to Andrew when you need furniture.”

I especially want to thank Madelene, an outstanding empoyee, who went out of her way to assist me in finding what I was looking for. She is obviously a very hard-working employee, as I observed her walking back and forth several times through the entire women's department, hanging up clothes that people left in the dressing room or had put back in the wrong place, and straightening out diplays, picking up hangers, etc. to make the department look so much better. She seemed to have a lot of pride in her work. I was trying to find a different size in one blouse that I really liked, and I was so grateful when she finally found it behind some other blouses, completely hidden from view. They did not seem rushed at all and had time to answer questions. They even allowed me to check out fairly quickly, and was in and out within 5 minutes.”

“I typically don't enjoy shopping and not sure that visiting Nordstrom often is high on my list of things to do, however when it comes to selection and quality products, Nordstrom is my "go-to". Service is mostly decent in my experience. I'm not sure how the salespeople are paid or incentivized, so unsure how that factors in but they genuinely seem like they want to help. In my experience, Nordstrom is unrivaled in the department store category (and their online presence is excellent.) 5 stars”

“I came during the week before school comes out to for multiple come out of work, so it wasn't very crowded. The return line was very short. The man at the customer service was very helpful. I wasn't able to find exactly what I needed but I did find some things there. They did not have a produce area.”

“This Macy's is better than most. I like the Customer Service area on the first floor. There's a few smart women/men who do returns quickly. I shop a lot online due to my size so it's nice to have the area next to parking for returns. I think as a get older I have less patience to shop in the store. Also the variety of merchandise is good. This Macy's is 3 stories. Women's department is downstairs, then Shoes, Purses and Beauty on the second floor. Lastly, evening, sleep and undergarments on the top floor. The Men's, kitchen and bedding (Home) department is completely separate on the other side of the mall. Parking for that is the first/second floor across Carson. I've never had to wait too long to get checked out unless it's the holidays.”

“This store is one of my goto Targets. The store seems larger than the order stores. I usually find everything I need. Plenty of parking. There is an Ultra in this store. I needed sunscreen and Ultra had what I was looking for. Kopar is the brand I was looking for. This is a SPF 45 sunscreen. This is one of the BEST sunscreen on the market. It's pricey but your skin is worth it. You're thank me later.”

“Love the stuff they have especially for the prices. The cleaning supplies are amazing. They had the photographed scraper. I had to use it to remove very old drawer liner that ripped into small really stuck pieces. It worked great. They also have Lil brushes that are really good at cleaning between the faucet knob and the faucet itself. They have gift wrap and bags, coin purses, reusable shopping bags, socks, school supplies, arts and crafts supplies, camping supplies, kitchen utensils, storage containers, stickers, yard and gardening supplies, toys, pet supplies, snacks and some food, cold drinks, bathroom and hygiene supplies. Best of all it starts at $1.50.”
