“I went to top canvas on a Wednesday not expecting to find any Sonny angels because they’re so hard to find nowadays. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by an associate named Angel and he was super helpful! The moment he knew I was looking for Sonny angels, he showed me everything they had! I ended up taking two Sonny angels and a collectors Sonny Angel which was cool! He was super dope and just made the whole Sonny Angel experience better! “Ran into MTVJack here working at the counter in a cheap spiderman suit. He told me that he lost his dl after 3 dui and this guy still not sober. Another customer started to shoplift and he donned his spider man mask and confronted the robber but missed him and destroyed a table with merchantdise on. What a poor dude. Felt bad for him. Hope he get back to his former glory.>> Most likely his pilot didn't air. His acting was very good but I didn't feel the taping came out funny enough to be picked up by networks.”

“Neat place! Makes me want to get into Mini Z racing. Model kit collection is limited. This is more of a RC place. Along with MiniZ, it's got some classic Tamiya and Traxxas cars, on and off road, along with parts and stuff. The folks here are friendly and helpful.
They have a big MiniZ track with a digital counter, and a small track for beginners and kiddos.”

“My favorite learning store, especially because they have the warehouse/ discounted side. If you look closely, you can find perfectly brand new items, and the only thing that's wrong with them is the damaged packaging. My kids don't care about the packaging.
One Christmas, I came looking for a toy that was sold out. But when I asked the associate, she ended up finding one in the back. It made my day and my son's day when he opened it on Christmas. So now I go back every year to get all my toys.
The staff is always helpful. Prices have gone up through the years, but you can't beat the quality. These toys last and aren't cheaply made like Amazon's toys. It's a must-see!”

“The worst thing about ordering something on-line is the possibility of having to deal with a return or exchange. I am happy to know, first-hand, that this will not be the case when I order from Lakeshore just so long as they continue to provide the service I received during Christmas (2023).I want to compliment Lakeshore and, specifically, the nice lady (Karla) who helped with the issue I had with my web order 516830774. Your Packing List No. 101822 correctly listed one I Can Drive First Fire Truck (Item FT765); however, I received a different item altogether (some tent building kit). My little Girl specifically wanted this truck and I was heartbroken to think that I wasn't going to be able to give it to her that Saturday. I called and the lady who helped me assured me that I would receive the correct item beforehand. The ease of getting everything straightened-out left me second-guessing whether or not everything would actually turn out the way I was promised. Especially since this was during Christmas...but it did. I didn't even have to return the item that was sent by mistake. Thank you!!”

I had the absolute pleasure of discovering Bella Beach Kids during a private event, and I can honestly say it’s so much more than a kids’ store — it’s a treasure trove for everyone! They carry an incredible mix of kids’, women’s, and men’s items, including beachwear, luxurious lotions, soaps, Parfum, creams, and even exquisite jewelry. Truly, everything you can think of under one roof!
During the event, I was gifted samples from Atelier Rebul Istanbul, including the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, perfume, and hand & body lotion — and I completely fell in love. The scent is beyond amazing, and today I returned to purchase the full-size products, especially the shampoo and conditioner. They’re perfect for traveling and feel so luxurious.
A special shoutout to Marinés, the manager, who was warm, genuine, and incredibly welcoming. Her energy made me want to stay and just enjoy the space — and trust me, I’m not usually a shopper. But this store is different. It feels like a little oasis.
If you’re anywhere near Manhattan Beach Boulevard, this store is a must-visit. After shopping, you can stroll down to the pier or grab a bite at one of the many nearby restaurants. You can easily turn your visit into a perfect beachside day.

I visited Build-A-Bear about 30 minutes before closing and was hesitant to bring my children in, worried we might be rushed or turned away. However, Knox assured us there was plenty of time to enjoy the full experience—and he was absolutely right!
Knox went above and beyond to make the visit unforgettable for my kids. Knox kept them engaged, helped us pick out everything, and made the entire process fun and stress-free. Knox interaction with my children was incredible—his patience, enthusiasm, and kindness truly stood out.
Even when the system had technical issues at closing time, Knox remained calm and reassuring. I was concerned my kids might have to leave without their items, but Knox resolved the issue, ensuring we checked out smoothly. “So much stock! Lots of singles for Pokémon and yugioh at a great price. The store owner was incredibly nice and said it’s just difficult for them to organize the amount of stuff they have!! Lots of packs from several different fandoms, binders, merchandise, even sports cards are here. They have a buy 10 singles for a 1$ deal and that was useful for me. An awesome spot with a high chance of finding what you’re looking for. Don’t judge its appearance, they’ve just got a lot !!! Much to uncover.”
“A true gem in Torrance. Family-owned business since the 90s. I used to come here every weekend as a kid and I can't believe that they're still around. I always try to make a trip here whenever I'm back in town. The owners are so sweet and explains why they have such loyal customers, some of them with their own families and kids now. Excellent customer service, they give great suggestions based on what you need. 100% authentic, they used to hold official tournaments by Konami. They have a great selection of booster packs and boxes. The way to pull a Mega Pokemon or any rare card in general is to buy sealed boxes, which trust me, you'll know if it's re-sealed right away by the way the seal looks.
They used to display individual cards but things have definitely changed, especially after COVID, and they are moving towards more online sales & business. Everything is still available, you just need to look it up online beforehand. They allow you to purchase online or call-in to save cards seen online and come-in to do pick-up so that you save on shipping costs.
They occasionally buy used cards and those are the single cards listed online. Please remember that this is a small business and they are not buying to collect, they are buying to make a living. There are a lot of costs and time spent sorting, organizing, storing, listing, and potentially shipping these individual cards. The owner is always upfront on how they buy cards. If you are selling singles, they will look up market price and offer you a price they feel worth it for them to buy and resell. The price is always mutually agreed on between the seller and buyer. There are plenty of avenues for one to sell privately, such as Facebook Marketplace and eBay if you are hoping to get 100% market price. This store is based on honest, hard-working people and I will always rather spend my money here, rather than a corporate conglomerate like Walmart or Target! I hope they stay in business forever.”
