“I have been looking for an exercise class with no judgement. It's been awhile as I find myself in my 60s and out of shape. I needed to be motivated, inspired and delighted. I'm not going to do something I don't like. Deb Walker brings it every time in her Nia classes! I am challenged, I laugh, I sweat, I dance, and I feel amazing! This would be a workout for anyone at any age. A great location, lots of parking, classes when I need them - even on Saturday and Sunday, and the nicest and most welcoming people!”

“Wow. My new favorite restaurant. I moved to the area three years ago, and how have I been sleeping on this place? They have everything dialed in: great service, fun atmosphere, and the most crave-able cuisine. Two weeks later, I'm still thinking about my chicken parmesan with the sneaky kick, and my boyfriend's tender, perfectly seasoned filet. They do the classics, but find ways to surprise you. Whatever you do, do not skip dessert. The coconut citrus pie, I want to say, is something between a key lime pie and Basque cheesecake, and it is one of the best desserts that I have ever tasted. Also, this might not be the first place you'd think to go for a perfect margarita, but the bartender can make you one. Shout out to our waiter, Brian, who was attentive, funny, and made us feel right at home.Parking: The hour that we went, the parking lot right across the street was free.”
“Accidentally stumbled upon this place and were surprised. It is a place near the water where houseboats and yachts are moored. We saw goats in an enclosure and also many large beautiful sculptures. It is a very atmospheric place. We had a good time. At the same time, we noticed that there is a cafe with live music on the pier.”
“This venue was the best Wedgewood Weddings property I have been to by far! I am a wedding photographer and work with quite a few of their venues, but this venue far supersedes any other! From the inclusive wedding options, to the pyrotechnics at the reception, to the amazing food, this venue is by far more than 5 stars, not to mention the most stunning ceremony and sunset views. “Deer Park Villa is as charming as the name. As a photographer, It’s always a pleasure working here.I have been lucky enough to a few times now. First off - the redwoods that surround the venue are gorgeous. They make for a beautiful backdrop and had an intimate feel. The staff always does a great job helping the couples vision and making their day seamless. A great venue to work with and from my perspective, a great venue to have your wedding at! Top of the list of my favorite venues in the SF Bay Area.”
“We got married at the Outdoor Art Club in August 2023. It's a gorgeous venue that feels private and tucked away and also has the convenience of being in the center of Mill Valley. There's little need for additional decor because of all the lush greenery, flowers, and trees. The architecture is beautiful as well. It's a stunning setting!Mary and Dave were wonderful to work with, and we really appreciate how Dave made himself available so we could have a site visit during off-hours with our planner, and hold our rehearsal onsite the day before the wedding. The venue provided much of the furniture we needed (dinner tables, cocktail tables, chairs, umbrellas, etc.), which really simplified the planning and rentals process. All of our guests loved the venue too. There was plenty of space indoors and outside for everyone to mingle. We're so glad we got married at the Outdoor Art Club!”
“My 4-year-old son has been attending classes here, and he enjoys it! The teachers have all been great with the kids. They keep the little ones engaged and entertained throughout the entire 45-minute class. It's impressive how they switch activities and exercises every 3-4 minutes, which is perfectly tailored to match the attention span of young children. The school is a good balance between nurturing creativity and having fun. They incorporate just the right amount of imagination and playfulness into the classes, making them enjoyable for the children.”

“I love my club! We just went to the family holiday party, and it was the best! The volunteers had great craft projects for the kids and even a “snowball” fight. The dinner was yummy, but even better was the Hawaiian ensemble ukulele players and dancers. I certainly didn’t expect that wonderful entertainment. That made it a delightful evening for the adults, too. Of course, the adults enjoyed watching the 49er rout of the Eagles on the big screen while the kids played with the volunteers.Then, the highlight for the kids was Santa! He was great, and the photographer took numerous pictures for the families. The kids received a generous haul of fun gifts, too.This was a truly magical afternoon/evening! Thank you, fellow elks, for such a fantastic time.”

“Best yacht club in the Bay Area! The staff is very friendly, and deck hands are always very attentive to docking needs.The restaurant boasts gorgeous views of the SF Bay and service is always 1st class. The menu seems to change seasonally with fresh ingredients and mouthwatering entree’s.You often see John, the GM greeting members and guests and he is always friendly, and helpful. The club is very family oriented also, with lots of member activities throughout the year.”
“Came here to use the trailhead for a hike down to the tide pools. Park in the parking lot, go down past the goats until you get to a random sign with a long store pointing to the right. Follow that trail to the "dome trail", past the "bone Grove", and once you find the dome, walk across the meadow until you see the path down to the beach. Make sure to check when low tide is!”
“Long overdue review! We hosted my sister's baby shower here a year ago and everything exceeded our expectations from planning to the execution of the event. Working with Laura was an absolute pleasure. She was so accommodating and helped us craft a delicious menu. On the day of, the staff was so hospitable and friendly to our family and friends. They even joined in the dancing and eased all nerves. We had one minor hiccup with the adapter to connect the iPhone for music (someone had taken the adapter from the previous event). One of the staff went to Target to get another adapter and it was smooth sailing after that. We had plenty of food and every dish was fantastic. It was one of the best catered meals I have had and I've been to many corporate events and dinners around the country. We went with the fajita buffet option and did a chicken/veggie option instead of a chicken/beef option.We are lucky to have this venue in the North Bay!”
“5 Stars for great, inexpensive drinks. No food served here unless you count popcorn as a food. Classic stop fore for 25 plus years. Friday's rock after 9. Not for everyone, fancy is NOT a word that can be applied to the Cabin. But fun and dive bar are perfect ways to describe it!”

“Attended BuckLuckyfest at this wonderful venue. The staff is great the owner, Olympia , is fabulous! A great place to have an event or party. The food is good and Austin mixes up your favorite cocktails. Tonight a $5 cover gets you in to see live bands play, shop vintage clothing and check out other vendor booths or hang out in bar area and watch sports. Event ends at 10pm.”

“This is a very nice Community center. It's located in the heart of San Rafael with a good size parking lot. For big events the parking lot is often full. The center has a very large ballroom and smaller rooms that expand to accommodate smaller functions. I've attended events in the ballroom such as the Chinese New Years event with performers using the full stage. Other events include Goldenaires bingo, armed Cross blood drives, and the Mull Valley Film festival party. Even Jared Huffman has used the ballroom for his in person events. The smaller rooms are terrific for trainings by the Women's Pilitical Action Committee and lunches or parties. There is a full kitchen and custodian on staff. It is also a good value.”

“We booked our wedding at the University of Redlands, Marin Campus and you cannot find a more breathtaking venue. Every site on the campus offered its own unique and beautiful views. The Geneva Terrace was absolutely gorgeous and the Montgomery Garden provided a dramatic backdrop for our reception. Our guests were in awe the entire time at our wedding. We also rented the Shaw Guest House and could not have been happier with that decision. The photo opportunities were endless within the yard and inside the house. Being within walking distance to the wedding site was also a major plus! Ashley was great to work with! She was very kind and very helpful with getting everything we needed for our special day.”

“Outstanding food, authentically Italian, incredibly fresh ingredients. My little gems salad with anchovy was one of the very best salads I’ve had. All our dishes were excellent. Portions were large, flavors popped and presentation was attractive. Only negative was that the server seemed to have too many tables, as we had a very long wait between menu presentation and ordering. Overall, this was as good as expected, and I definitely recommend. Poggio has been a top restaurant for many years, and the praise seems deserved.”
