SISU is an amazing homegoods, apparel and camping/outdoors shop that specializes in a lot of high quality brands that you would not find in typical retail stores. Their inventory tends to rotate with seasonality and everything feels curated with thought! The owners (Kai and Michelle) are wonderful, kind and patient with answering questions and giving suggestions or additional information about a specific product.You can find a wide variety of Snow Peak, Engineered Garments, Nanamica, Matador, SOTO, Kinto, Salt + Stone, Porter, Topo products. I feel giddy every time I step in and have always left with something. Definitely a must if you are visiting or traveling through La Habra!”

“A seasonal Hslloween store just closed last week. Before Halloween, the place was packed with the crowd buying their custumes. If you know what you want beforehand, the visit may be very short. It was scary to see motion detecting scary figures to greet the visitors. One of figures almost gave me a heart attack when its face suddenly lowered toward me-my kids loved the moment when I ran away from it. We will come again next year!”

“I manage an Apt bldg. I had to order custom vertical vanes and Jose (sales person) was friendly and helpful. I wasn't sure how many vanes - I needed. He suggested, that I measure the headrail or count the clips on the existing headrail to get an exact count to prevent an undercount or overage. The price quoted was competitive and fair. I give a Big Thumbs Up. I ordered Thurs afternoon and Jose said would be ready at 9am on Sat. Thats what I call service.”

“We ordered the Hunter Douglas Banded Shades (black/grey) with motorization. The three in the family room have a remote control plus the app on the phone. I was able to set a "scene" for opening the shades at daybreak and closing the shades at sunset. They work like clock work! Perfect setting. We can override the setting if we need the blinds to close or open in-between the scene setting. In hind-sight, we should have gotten the shades in the living/dining room with a remote as well. But, they are still beautiful. We love our shades. Thank you Kevin. It was nice working with you again.”

“This is a cute boutique that has handmade items for your home or gifts for loved ones. The shop has a new owner, Karen, who has impressed me with her helpfulness. In December, I purchased some jewelry (made by locals in the area) and an ornament that I wanted personalized. In 10 minutes, Karen painted on the name and date for my friend. In January, I had a bracelet in need of repair. I didn't know where to take it. Then, I remembered the customer service provided at this shop. In one week my bracelet was ready and fits perfectly. They decorate for each season. The Christmas decor has been changed and ready for Valentine's day. A few years ago, I attended a fundraiser here. They sectioned off an area and refreshments were served. This is what I like, a small business engaged in the community. Shop Covina and don't forget to tell 'em Rosemary sent ya!”
