“my partner and i planned to have a very quiet night at the sherwood arms motel, but i do think the village market had plans in motion to disrupt our plans. this place has everything you need and they are smart about it, too! i like many types of delights, and usually i am responsible for locating each treat in their rightful places. as luck would have it, this establishment does the work for you. having said that, they have plastic vessels impregnated with smaller plastic vessels that contain delightful, adult alcohol. contained alongside these plastic infants is a potpourri of accoutrements. how exciting! i've seen these on my phone! or, is it in my phone? for dinner i had a cup of beef noodles that had my expectations turned inside out. the noodles were not made of beef, as i thought, but were plain and absorbed only a modest amount of beef flavor that was sealed into a shiny packet. how did the beef become powder? if i was a beef addict, i might be tempted to use a rolled $1 (USD) bill to sample the flavors on their own.”

“Its an experience here, from having to loan the cart a quarter to use down to bagging your own groceries. its always a hit or miss with the store, if you go early before opening there is always a line if eager shoppers waiting for the doors to open. Do you guys remember that old Mervyn's commercial what's the lady waiting for the store to open flashing her hands at the door saying Open open open open open open open yeah these are those people. The customers are always nice enough to give you their cart when they are done if your short a quarter. The sales aren't bad but it's definitely first come first serve as they run out quickly. I do like how they constantly changing what they have in stock. But I think the best thing about the store is the security guard. This woman is always in a good mood always happy always smiling and always puts a smile on my face. Her great attitude is contagious!!”

“Of all the Stater Brothers I have been to, this is the cleanest one thus far and I visited to at least 10 locations. When I first moved to the Ranch, I wanted to make sure there was a supermarket close by in the community. Back in 2019, I met the store manager, who was well into 25 years plus with Staters. He greeted everyone who walked thru those doors. He knew just about everyone who came thru that store. Very friendly and gave the big store community service vibe. The produce are always fresh and so were the meats and cuts.I must say that I can depend on this location to provide the best service every day.”

“The staff is great! So friendly. However I dislike how small the aisles are. Virtually no space to get around other shoppers and most of the time have to go down a few lanes before you can turn in and go back down to where you actually wanna be.”

“A leader in fine retail grocery management. And that comes from working and shopping in supermarkets on both East and West coasts. There's ALWAYS a good feeling here, and during Snowmaggedon (Feb. 2023), this location was the lifeblood for everyone in the area and surrounding towns. It's several components, but credits to the staff, especially. And the presentation: FACED OFF row upon row in any aisle first thing in the morning. To-do point for a short docu-skit for a young film credit? That's the staff: fun folks who are happy being there. The store reflects it.”

“Good store to shop if in a hurry. Usually checkers are quick and lines go fast as opposed to food 4 less down the street. Always long lines and only one checker maybe 2....rather spend a little more for less time in line....Beretta”

“Nice, clean, and convenient place to put gas. If you have a food 4 less rewards card, use it for 10 cents off the price. I go here when I'm too lazy to drive to Sam's club. Using the rewards, it's pretty comparable to Sams gas prices. If the pump doesn't accept your rewards scan, move to another pump. It's happened to me a few times. If you need water/air for your vehicle after pumping gas, ask the attendant to turn it on. No extra charge. The air compressor has a setting to apply your desired PSI. It's kinda cool cause it beeps and flashes when it reaches your pressure setting. Most new vehicles have this setting, but it's neat for the vehicles that don't. You don't have to squint your eyes trying to count the lines on the pin or run back and forth looking to see what the pressure says inside the car.”

“It’s weird that there’s no soda cooler in the register area. And no original Mountain Dew. Other than that it’s alright. The prices are to be expected with a mountain town.”

“I went in and got a burrito con asada, with green and red salsa to accompany it, all i can say it hit the spot and tasted authentic and rich such as a lonchera style burrito should taste like. I recommend trying this spot, as it takes a lot to get that authentic type feel to burritos and a lonchera style type taste to it, i recommend the asada burrito, it definitely did not disappoint.?”

“The omelets are huge but they're bomb and my son had french toast and loved it. He almost ate all of it. And my omelette was so big I had to take half of it home. I personally think that it's well worth the money. Plus I really don't think it's too expensive either with prices how they are now.”
