The CVS on Mack Road in South Sacramento is a recently opened store that presents a beautiful exterior. However, inside it feels outdated, resembling a store that is 30 years old, with many empty or semi-empty shelves and some items locked behind plastic doors. Despite this, the staff are generally friendly and helpful, providing good service whether assisting with Money Gram transactions or checking out customers. The store is kept clean and well-organized, and parking is usually available close to the entrance. Although the store looks good and customers appreciate the friendly staff, some concerns remain about the store's stock levels and overall appearance, which seem to decline compared to other locations. The parking lot and surrounding area have issues with homeless people, although this does not directly affect the shopping experience. Some customers have expressed disappointment with the dwindling product selection since the pandemic, especially in cosmetics and popular items, making shopping less predictable. Nevertheless, the store continues to attract loyal customers thanks to its regular coupons, sales, and friendly staff. Overall, CVS on Mack Road is a convenient place for quick shopping and services, with a welcoming environment despite some ongoing challenges.
Only came for the pharmacy.... It was overstaffed yet slow and unorganized.... Bad area to shop or leave a parked ๐ car... Homeless people everywhere ๐

I picked two stars for this CVS location because going in and out of this store is very scary because lots of homeless people approach you form no where and thereโs no security around. However, the representatives working inside store provide good customer service.

I don't recommend purchasing photo products other than prints from here. I purchased photo magnets. They are prints glued to a magnet. They aren't even cut to fit each other.
