“I absolutely love this little store in Oak Park. They have the cutest items, from earrings/rings/jewelry, to journals, home decor, stickers, local items and super fun gifts. They have an amazing charm bar and the location is perfect. Near the store is Oak Park Brewery, as well as some incredible coffee shops, and Underground Books is also close by.
We live around the corner, so when I started thinking about places to have my daughter's seventh birthday, I thought this would be such a fun place for her and her friends. We had a bead bar party out back and it was such a lovely event! We hosted about 9 girls, ages 5-9 and they had the best time beading their hearts out.
The back patio is pleasantly shaded (it was 104 degrees the day of her party. Our party time was 10am to noon and it was nice and cool), and I could not believe the attention to detail by the staff to make her day truly special. They had a huge banner laid out for the birthday girl with some super fun markers for the girls to color and draw on. We had two hours of very well-organized crafting time, and the girls got to make bracelets, anklets, necklaces, whatever their heart desired (and as much as their hearts desired) and the beads and charms they got to pick from were beautiful! Danielle helped keep things on track and she was so incredibly kind and patient with the girls, she even remembered each of their names!
Booking was incredibly easy (even with having to change the date after we booked and paid the deposit), and the price was incredibly affordable, especially considering the incredible set up and supplies the girls got to use. Would HIGHLY recommend ANY party here, for any age! It was so much fun!!!”
“I ordered 3 writing journals and 2 magnets on Friday morning last week, anticipating I'd receive them at some point later this week, per the shipping info. To my surprise, they were delivered in my mailbox the next day with Saturday afternoon's mail drop. I will continually support them as an African American business, not only because of THAT (it's one of the reasons though :-), but I will go out of my way for good, prompt service. The journals are BEAUTIFUL, displaying beautiful sistah art and each page outlining an encouraging biblical scripture. YASSSSSSS my people, yes. Keep up the good work.”

“Gifts on the Bloc is one of the coolest stores in Sacramento! Looking around, the store feels like a wonderland. They truly have a little something for everyone. TCG's, manga, anime-related merch, Buldak Ramen, the list goes on.
The employee's are also extremely nice, it feels like you're chatting with a good friend. So much so, that they make you want to go out of your way to support their business!
If you're on the fence about stopping in, I implore you to check them out! You won't be disappointed!”
“I LOVE this shop! Ginger and Raven are such a fun and unique addition to Midtown Sacramento. This is one of my favorite places to browse for oddities and curiosities, witchy gifts, antiques, science-related treasures, and truly unusual finds. They have an amazing selection of genuine oddities and specimens—think taxidermy, two-headed baby ducks, brains in jars, bugs, and other fascinating natural-history curiosities—alongside adorable witchy and magical items like novelty tarot decks, candles, bath bombs, and supplies for spells.
They also showcase handmade gifts from local Sacramento artists, including beautiful jewelry, bags, and incredibly cute felted woodland scenes. I love that the inventory is constantly changing, with new oddities, curiosities, antiques, and unique gifts coming in all the time, so there’s always something new to discover.

“Visions of Eden in Old Sacramento is one of the many souvenir stores there. But they're not the same as the other stores. Visions of Eden carried many items I couldn't find at the other souvenir stores. The store is beautiful! This was the first thing on my mind when I walked into the store. They have a much better way of displaying the items. The souvenirs in Visions of Eden are more attractive than their competitors in Old Sacramento. The workers there are friendly and attentive. I got a nice greeting from two of the employees there. They also politely offered help. The prices are comparable to all the souvenir shops in the tourist district. But I feel more comfortable to shop here.”
“Small gift shop but has some very nice items with Sacramento and California on them. Bring your shiny penny and two quarters if you like to have a penny souvenir. They range from shot glasses, mugs, cups, coasters, kitchen towels, stickers, jig saw puzzles, tree ornaments, playing cards, post cards, magnets etc. I recommend book marks! I surely would have purchased that in addition to the other souvenirs I bought. Pam was very nice in helping me on the phone to locate them.”
