I have to admit, I searched online for a handful of the items to compare prices, and this place was either the same price or even better than buying them online…especially when you factor in shipping and waiting days for them to arrive.
I found some real treasures! Walking into this place feels like taking a step back in time. SO MANY MEMORIES! It’s such a fun place to browse, and I’ll definitely be back.β

βKulture which is the largest store in the courtyard has so many unique gifts from Mexico such as clothing, hats, art, decorative items and more. There is also a courtyard with many smaller shops. Each store is just a very small space but they have a ton of beautiful treasures to look through. There are purses, jewelry, art, clothing, incense sticks, and so much more! Highly recommend. They also have 2nd Saturday events here.β
βThis is an absolute adorable gem in East Sac! Iβve driven and walked past the shop so many times and finally went in to explore. The employee was nice and greeted me right away.
The inside is spacious, lots of nature light, and the store is full of unique pieces. It reminds me of World Market with the array of kitchen and cooking tools and knickknacks. Thereβs some food and drink items sold here, but they are more curated and locally owned versus big brands youβd find elsewhere. If you are looking for gifts for a special someone I would come here and see if anything catches your eye, especially for a housewarming gift or the cook/baker in your life. Will definitely be back.β

They have a great selection of MCM furniture. And they get shipment from Denmark regularly. We were able to find dining chairs with awesome design. The chairs look amazing after we did upholstery.
Their prices are fair. They can be used without reconditoning.
For us, it was worth the drive of three hours to get to Sacramento.β
βVery touristy, but nice selection of turquoise and silver jewelry, decent kachina doll selection, nice cheap little cedar boxes. Jewelry can get expensive really quick, but it's like that everywhere for that kind of jewelry.β
βI am so glad I found Model Home Accents. Not only did they have a vase in the style and color I wanted, they shipped the product out of state. Rose followed up with me to make sure I received it and that it was not defective. I will definitely look at this store before I look anywhere else.β

βThis is one of my favorite places to find gifts in Sacramento. The shop is filled with cool local items and it is easy to find something unique. I stopped in for a last minute present and ended up buying something for myself too. The staff was friendly and made great suggestions without being pushy. If you like supporting local makers, this place is perfect.β
βWe came in looking for some slab for a desk, fell in love with a 3 - 4" thick piece of walnut that had warped a bit but they could salvage some for our 1.25" desk plan. Half down as a deposit, Made some drawings including how to process the drop, sent it off, and they started on it.Turns out the piece was still too wet in their opinion (therefore would continue to warp) and they began looking for another piece.We ran out of time for the project and they were understanding and happy to refund the project. Incredibly happy they could tell it was still too wet because I was already fretting if this desk would warp on me.I will 100% be coming back for wood when I can take on this project again!β

βVisions of Eden in Old Sacramento is one of the many souvenir stores there. But they're not the same as the other stores. Visions of Eden carried many items I couldn't find at the other souvenir stores. The store is beautiful! This was the first thing on my mind when I walked into the store. They have a much better way of displaying the items. The souvenirs in Visions of Eden are more attractive than their competitors in Old Sacramento. The workers there are friendly and attentive. I got a nice greeting from two of the employees there. They also politely offered help. The prices are comparable to all the souvenir shops in the tourist district. But I feel more comfortable to shop here.β

βVery cute, convenient store next to Smiles Market. I finally got my chance to walk in the store officially on 1.21.24!! I enjoyed my time there. Lots of choices of items to choose from. I loved all the options. Great prices, which are affordable, too! The man that works there is very nice, polite, and helpful. We loved talking to him while we were window shopping. He has a charming smile that makes us all happy to shop there comfortably. I definitely want to come back as I am interested in buying a blanket there and a firm pillow that I would like to gift to my dad. Overall I want to come shop here again. I was always curious about shopping in this store in the past but always came by when it was either closed or I did not have time to go in when I was passing by to grab my groceries at Smiles. I'm glad I was finally able to go this year and see what I have been missing. The store is a bit tight when looking at things, but I don't feel as overwhelmed when I look as it's very general and basic to the point. The store isn't big like KP, but I feel it's easier to look around without feeling overwhelmed, if that makes sense? Small, yet intimate to get the time you need without feeling as though something was overlooked. It's all self-explanatory, all in eyes view without over looking at all the products.β

βFloor and Decor is the best store if you want to remodel your home. They have a Designer service that is absolutely outstanding! I was so lost when I started my remodel process and my contractor recommended them. I scheduled an apt with one of their designers and the designer was incredible. The designer was Enrique, who I want to thank for his exquisite taste, patience and advise. Enrique was so important in how our proyect turned out. Enrique really allowed me to understand all the details involved, assisted me in choosing the best products and making sure they were within the same color pallet so there would be harmony. Enrique is the best, I couldnt have done it without him!!β

βJust one word: wow! We needed a complete overhaul of our 1940s bathroom and didnβt know where to start. Anna put us right at ease with her kind and positive attitude. She has a great eye for design obviously, but was also sensitive to what we wanted, our budget, and to the environment. From the planning stage to execution, picking the fixtures and putting in the finishing touches, sheβs done everything with aplomb. Our bathroom debuted with rave reviews. Anna is a truly excellent designer/architect. I wouldnβt go anywhere else.β
