“I love coming here every so often for stones and jewelry. It’s a little disappointing that prices have gone up quite a bit on most items, and the geode selection is so much smaller than about 6-7 months ago. I honestly felt like the whole stone section was different and underwhelming too.”

“Such a wonderful place blast from the past and every room. I would totally go there again. There was so much to see I didn't even get to get through everything. Every room is set up like a different decade. Prices were not bad if you've never been here before you definitely need to make it a priority if you're into antiques or really just having an enjoyable afternoon. They also have two really great little wiener dogs that seem to be the store's mascot.”

“We were in the market for a new Kitchen Table/Chairs for over a year. We finally selected a Table and 6 chairs (Moe's Furniture). Next step was finding a Distributor of this furniture from a Store/Company who had affordable & fair pricing but, most important, who were honest and had excellent Customer Service. We were pleasantly surprised when we found Rose from Model Home Accents. Throughout the buying and delivery process, Rose was consistently professional, personable and communicative the ENTIRE time. Anymore these days, this is a rarity. It's obvious that Rose cares deeply about her customers and she absolutely knows how to treat people with care and respect. Our only regret is that we wish we would have found or known about Rose & Model Home Accents a year ago when we moved into our new home! For future purchases, we will ALWAYS check in with Rose because we cannot imagine ever buying from anyone else!”

“We came in looking for some slab for a desk, fell in love with a 3 - 4" thick piece of walnut that had warped a bit but they could salvage some for our 1.25" desk plan. Half down as a deposit, Made some drawings including how to process the drop, sent it off, and they started on it.Turns out the piece was still too wet in their opinion (therefore would continue to warp) and they began looking for another piece.We ran out of time for the project and they were understanding and happy to refund the project. Incredibly happy they could tell it was still too wet because I was already fretting if this desk would warp on me.I will 100% be coming back for wood when I can take on this project again!”

“I've never shopped here but I went in to look around. I love the randomness of this place and how everything is kinda just thrown on the shelves with no rhyme or reason. Like, u can find a leopard statue with multicolored spots next to a floor lamp with a shade made of feathers right next to the makeup caddies and journals next to the picture frames lol”
“A good store for creativity. There are already a lot of things for Halloween and New Year, of course there are expensive goods, but they are high-quality, made of cotton or other good materials. There are fabrics for sewing, carpets, frames, pads, boxes, canvases, paints of different brands and purposes. I definitely recommend this store for visiting something here you can buy 100%.

“The dd’s Discounts store in this location is not very busy. They're pretty much the same as the other dd’s Discounts stores, with a similar layout and merchandise. The store has some empty shelves. But it's not as bad as some bargain stores I visited recently. The cashier line is short and fast too.”

We made multiple visits to the showroom and Becca was our goto person to discuss about our home floor plan and what would fit best in our home. Becca had immense knowledge about interiors and was quick in suggesting something that aligns to our likening and the end result was that we begin with ordering a sofa set from the store. “After searching for ages for a specific dining room table that I had in mind, I finally gave up and decided to look for a local woodworker here in Sacramento who could bring my vision to life. I reached out to Mike at Ambrose Woodworks after I found his website and saw his portfolio of live edge furniture pieces.I had my eye on a white elm dining table that he handcrafted, and I sent a message to him to see if I could check it out in person. Mike was a great communicator, and he invited me to his studio to look at a couple finished pieces as well as some wood slabs that he had available. As a side note - I walked in while the album 'A Deeper Understanding' by The War on Drugs was playing in the background (one of my favorites), and I just knew this would be an awesome experience.As soon as my eyes saw the white elm dining table, I knew it was the one. I stood there in awe as I saw the way he managed to highlight all the natural beauty and variations in the white elm slabs and wood grain. The quality and craftsmanship were unmatched. The attention to detail was next level. This table was a true work of art, and I knew it was going to be admired on a daily basis as the centerpiece of my home.Not only is Mike a skilled woodworker, but he is also an experienced metalworker. I had a different vision in mind for the table legs, and he was able to collaborate with me to come up with an idea for an angular V leg base that would be constructed with matching wood. After he came up with the prototype, he realized that the structural integrity would be compromised due to the heavy weight of the table top. From an engineering standpoint, the stability of the table would be greater if he were to fabricate a metal angular V leg base. He did just that and had the table legs powder coated matte white to match. The table turned out to be exactly what I had envisioned, and I was beyond thrilled once the table was delivered.Mike Ambrose is one of the most talented craftsmen I've ever worked with, and he takes great pride in all his pieces. He's super passionate about his work, and his heart and soul can be seen in everything that he creates. I'm very lucky to be able to appreciate one of his masterpieces on a daily basis!”
