“We hired Kitchen Mart to do a quartz counter installation with new backsplash. We hired separate contractors to change out the electrical outlets and upgrade our existing cabinets. Kitchen Mart did a great job. These are very skilled craftsmen so we have no issues whatsoever with the quality of work. They came on time, cleaned up their mess and completed the project within the specified timeframe. Our main issue was with the lack of transparency with our payments to them. Having worked in this industry for many years, I am well aware of how home improvement companies operate when it comes to progress payments. What Kitchen Mart does like many other companies in this industry is require the first progress payment after the initial $1,000 deposit for a task called "Measure." Measure means the contractor comes out to the job site and writes down the exact measurements of the job to make sure the right amount of product is ordered and to pass on the information to the foreman. In our case, the first progress payment was over $5,000. Obviously, this progress payment is way more than the cost of taking measurements and the bulk of these funds is normally used to purchase material. We asked for some kind of proof of material purchase since they weren't going to deliver the material to the job site until they started work. They refused to provide any information, telling us it was not their standard operating procedure to do it. They could have blanked out the dollar amount if they were so secretive about the price but in any case, we had no choice in the matter. Secondly, we were given an allowance on the backsplash tiles of $1,000. The allowance is included in the purchase price so if it is more, then the difference is added on. If it is less, the difference is supposed to be refunded back to the customer. Once again, they provided nothing to show what was the actual amount so we have no way of knowing if we were under and by how much.I would have given them 5 stars because everything else regarding their work and attention to detail was spot on. I just wish they could have been a little more transparent with the funds.Photos show before, work in progress and finished product.”

“I had been looking for an Italian sofa for a while but always hesitated to order till I found furnitalia. The reviews seem too good to be true.. so, I drove from hHayward to Sacramento to see the show room... It was amazing and not only did they have furniture, but they also do amazing remodeling. I bought the sofa in the picture attached which Dmitriy and Eugene delivered personally because they were going to also survey my kitchen for a potential remodel. I have to say that this is a small business and the service is amazing. Looking forward to doing more projects with them in my new house. Oh... and the prices are significantly reasonable for the extremely great quality they offer.Katya helped me with the sofa - She was Spectacular and kept it real.”

“If you are wanting/needing a new Shower for your bathroom and great service, Signature Surfaces is the place to go. This is a family owned business, they are very knowledgeable and professional; the job was completed in a very 4 day timely manner. They exceeded my expectations! I love my new Corian Shower. P.J. and his son, definitely showed their attention to detail while completing the installation. The owner Ramiro Martinez is extremely knowledgeable, as is Brian in the office. The entire company was highly efficient, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a job well done!”

“Cynthia is a wizard at finding an order when there is a typo in the system. Back story to this review: I had ordered a vanity, and brushed nickel faucet from the showroom for my customer, was told that it will be in, in about a week and half. The week and a half was up, and I had the day prior to find where in the world my vanity is, and they couldn't find it. The next day I popped in and Cynthia totally kicked butt, found the order in no time at all. And like that I was going on about my day. You rock Cynthia.”

“I'll start by saying that service was great, they have a large selection and great value as these are lifetime knives! I was gifted the bread knife while on a trip as well as crab scissors. My son saw them and was very interested so I ordered the slicing knife since I knew about the Black Friday sale. Online ordering process is easy and it came in surprisingly fast!”

“Service With A Smile! It's so rare for salespeople anywhere to offer assistance before you've even asked. But that's what C.C. did at the Floor & Decor in Carmel Mountain Ranch! He happily lifted several boxes of tile onto my flat bed trolley for me, which saved my back and was much appreciated! Then up at the register I was greeted with a lovely smile by Pendeza (gosh I hope I got that right?!) who processed my large purchase and also helped me return some unused samples. And btw, those free samples (for PRO customers) were helpful to see in my spaces, which is why I came back and purchased 4 different tiles for my client's bathroom renovation: a large format tile for the back wall, oversized subway for the side walls, small mosaic tile for the bathroom floor and curb less shower pan, and a smaller subway tile for the niche. Getting to see the products "hands on" style is something that is scarce these days and I really appreciated it, accompanied by David's knowledge of what works best for us and showing me options I hadn't even thought of. “TLDR: I will definitely consider Yancey for my next job. I got the tub I wanted installed at a very reasonable price in a timely manner with great workmanship.More data: From start to finish, Yancey was different. I got several other contractors out to bid the job. I had a hard time communicating with a few people that came into to start bidding. I liked the guy from Yancey even though our communication styles differed greatly.The job was removing existing cabinets and double sinks and installing a new hot tub with a smaller cabinet and single sink. There was drywall, electrical, plumbing and tile.There was an initial issue with an electrical circuit tripping often. A couple calls and a site visit later, all is functional. Yancey was communicative and timely even though they already had my money. Definitely kept me at ease that this would all be resolved to my satisfaction.In the end, wifey is happy with her new tub, I am happy with the work done and the price paid. I will definitely look up Yancey the next time I need work done.”

“We got our kitchen countertops here. The stone is fine, I didn't like the variance of the colors so the one seam is extremely noticeable, but that was my fault as I should've put them side by side. Just wished they had checked for me before the installer picked them up. The prices are great, some of the best in town. Just do your due diligence before actually picking up your slabs. The staff is ok, kinda dry and short with their responses. But I can deal with that if I'm getting a good price! Lol.”
