βI was refused service at a neighboring business because my older model car needed 30 minutes to test and I arrived 20 minutes before closing. I was perfunctorily told to come back the next day in time to test my car. I sat in their lot calling around to find another mechanic and found one just down the street. They were closing at 5:00 but told me to come in. I was there in a few minutes, there was another customer before me and they were able to start testing at 5:00. The mechanic was accommodating and friendly and they have won my business.β
βAndre and Ernesto and the entire team take care of all our vehicles. They keep their word, communicate extremely well and they have a wealth of knowledge across the entire automotive world. They are quick to diagnose issues and develop an efficient plan to take care of it. Im very grateful to them and feel confident they have our safety and best interests in mind. βI've been going to the Masters for 12 years now. Previously for a '92 Camry and now to keep my 2000 Tacoma on the road for as long as possible. They are fair, diligent, professional and deeply knowledgeable mechanics. There was a circumstance where I ended up having to take my Tacoma to another mechanic and they tried to tell me I needed $4 to $5,000 worth of work to get the truck fixed and safe again. I was skeptical so when the opportunity presented itself I took it to the Masters and they told me I needed less than half of that work and some of the issues the other mechanic pointed out would need to be done eventually but did not present a safety concern or an immediate problem. That was probably a year ago now and the truck is still doing great. I cannot recommend them enough.β

βMy son had some car trouble while out of town and I looked up Volvo repair near Monterey. Hans Auto Repair popped up and I called to see if they could look at my son's car. They took his car right away, fixed it for a very reasonable price. If you own a Volvo you know repairs can be quite pricey. The day after the car went into the shop my son was back on the road. Thanks to everyone involved from the young lady that took the call to the mechanic who fixed the car. Great job and a great place to get your Volvo repaired.β

I have personally had many poor experience with shops and finally found a shop that I can trust with my personal truck. They are clean and methodical, complicate everything every step of the way, they help describe and explain to provide clear understanding of diagnosis. I feel Toby gives a good experience, which is most of what we want to pay for in this industry when it comes to our asset/ vehicle. Would highly recommend after searching for a good shop for quite some time. Fixed multiple misfires on f150 2.7 ecoboost.β

βIt is so refreshing to work with complete competence and knowledge. Mark has been taking care of our old Volvo for seven years now. It was making a strange noise, so I brought it in. He open the hood, said that doesnβt sound right, listened and looked at a couple things, and then identified the problem. He showed the part with metal shavings, explained what went wrong, ordered the part and fixed it within a week. He knows Volvos and is honest and straightforward. Just awesome!β

βSolis Auto worked on my Ford Transit and installed new brakes. They were fast and everything worked out great. I brought my Audi in for a break job, and this was tricky because of the types of brakes required. The first set squeaked and I had to bring the car back. They opened a spot for me and installed a different set of breaks at no cost. Those ended up squeaking also, so I had to bring the Audi back again. Solis did the research and found the best breaks for the vehicle. The noise finally settled down. The fact is - even with a difficult situation - they went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. Solis does not manufacture breaks so I know the squeaking was not their problem, but they certainly went out of their way as if it were. I appreciate their team a great deal after that transaction.β

βThey spent 15 minutes half way fixing my problem then recommended that I go and get a different part from Premium auto parts who had what I needed. They did not charge me a dime because they didnβt complete the job however I could not have done it without their tap. I ended up buying a die that they didnβt have from premium auto parts. βUsed this shop based on its military connection and access to Fort Ord. They are absolutely a great shop and mechanics. I had a lot that needed to be worked on after the alternator went bad and killed a lot of other stuff. The price of the parts and labor was more than fair. I'd say it's the best you're going to find anywhere in this area or state. They also didn't try to make up work. Just an old school feel to an all around mechanic shop that actually cares about the community.β
βGreat shop, better people. Very reasonable and quick turn around, even did extra work on my radiator shroud for free, and left me with the best French toast Iβve ever had, canβt say enough good thingsβ
