“I've been going to safeway at cabrillo and 10th for more than 30 years. I consider the people who work there not as employees, but as friends. Denise, Ricky Givens, Eric, Prudencia in produce are all hardworking and easy to get along with. They know their inventory, and are helpful in finding items that you are unable to find. When I couldn't find a medication that is on a national shortage, one of their staff was looking out for me and when they were able to find some they immediately called me and held it. Daniel went completely out of his way and fixed the complex situation. He definitely did not have to do anything whatsoever, but he did this for me on his own. Excellent customer service by Daniel. We were so very impressed.”
“I’ll start by saying that Saba deserves a promotion and a raise!:-) We had an urgent situation on our hands needing a time-sensitive subscription after my son’s surgery (that the surgeon forgot to call in) and 1) rather than respond within the one hour response time the voice recording said they would respond in, Saba called us back in less than 10 minutes, and then went on to, not only expedite our order, but when I raced in to pick up the prescription, she personally made sure that we were tended to and got what we needed in the most timely fashion. She was a pure delight, as was the person at the register. Grateful for this invaluable service during a time of need????”

Today I want to give a special shout out to Amanda the pharmacist who was working today, she alerted me to a very useful coupon which brought the cost of my prescription drug down quite a bit, she is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.Today, Sam, the cashier at the front of the store alerted me to a coupon offered by Hallmark Cards, which saved me $4.00, that was very nice and helpful of him.”

“I’ve used Walgreens pharmacy for 10 years. I have had only consistently positive experiences and am really shocked reading these reviews. They are extra accommodating even calling me when they could not get a certain prescription. They give me the best price between good rx and my insurance. I have seen the pharmacy staff be very present and caring with each person that is in front of them. I think people these days have lost their patience are less grateful, and have very little compassion for those that are overworked and understaffed.”

“I can't understand the negative reviews of this Pharmacy. It sounds as if they are describing Walgreens in Redhill, which we switched from to CVS because Walgreens was so bad. This CVS is very efficient. Excellent prescription service and pharmacy, and fun to shop in with lots of groceries and a good wine selection.”
