“Needed my Galaxy Z Fold 7 external screen replaced. They were able to order the OEM part in advance and when I brought it in the repair was done in 40 minutes and they even replaced my screen protector that had been on before the break. Solid work and phone screen is as good as new.”
“Had my screen replaced here and it turned out to be defective. Aside from it freezing, scrolling on its own and switching apps by itself… the screen just fell out one day as I picked my phone up! I brought it back in as soon as I was able to which was about 6 weeks later. The guy that fixed couldn’t believe that the screen just fell out and thought I broke it. I explained to him what happened and reminded him that I called to report the freezing issue a week after but could not come back sooner. He said he could not warranty it. I said ok I’ll pay for it but I need it fixed. I’m an honest person and the phone is worth to me more than the money or wasting time arguing. I left it there and came back a few hours later. He fixed my screen and said no charge. I’m not sure what happened but I think he figured out that the screen was defective and didn’t charge me again. The whole interaction and service was polite and cordial with no attitude. This review is not about the money or services but the fact that they honored the warranty and replaced it even though it was a manufacturer defect. That says a lot about a business and their integrity. I’ll be back for all my repairs and be sure to recommend them.”

“Honestly the best AV repairmen I've encountered in decades. I'm very impressed and I'll bring another vintage amp for service next month.I have a 1978 Concept 11.0 receiver that was overheating. It's a vintage high-current monster receiver with a wood case and chrome front. The manufacturer went bankrupt in 1983 and there's no repair information. But it's beautiful and has an excellent tone with my Klipsch fortes.I'd previously brought it to a different shop ("Champ" in the East Bay, which was a year+ and over $1k disaster - he couldn't fix it, broke a knob, caused an awful acrid burning smell and even sprayed cologne to try to hide it. Lesson learned!) but the amp was still lighting resistors on fire. I gave up for a year and assumed I was going to have to part it out. I made an offer to buy another Concept 11.0 and the owner said he'd gotten his repaired at Pro AV. So I decided to give Pro AV a chance but was prepared to buy this other unit if I had to.Pro AV found the problem that the other shop couldn't and fixed it in just 2 months for a fraction of what I'd paid the other guy. I honestly didn't think this amp could run as cool or as quiet as it does now. I'd just assumed it ran hot by design. And the smell is gone so my wife is happy.I couldn't give a more enthusiastic recommendation for these guys. They did excellent work for a very fair price.”

He came to my place in San Mateo on short notice the day before Thanksgiving, for which I was grateful. He diagnosed the problem, installed new equipment that he brought with him, and sorted everything out. He answered all my dumb questions, set up better antivirus and password programs at my request, and got me an external backup drive. I now have confidence that everything is optimized and protected. What a relief!
