“Discovering Maxwell's Pet Bar about a year ago has been a game-changer for our 12-year-old dog, Simon. Thanks to Jen and Kristi's expert guidance, we found the perfect raw food combination that has literally turned back the clock for him. He's more playful, enjoys his walks more, and overall, seems much younger. The transformation has been incredible to witness. I can't recommend Maxwell's Pet Bar enough. “I bought our first Dosha dog collar about 4 years ago and it’s amazing! It’s been through hell and back, in lakes, oceans, camping trips and everyone comments on it! I recently bought another since our old one has got a bit of ware and tear from over the years (but still is wearable and we go back and fourth from the old one to the new one now) and a stone fell out of the new one, the customer service was AMAZING, the woman got back to me immediately, sent me replacement stones and a replacement collar! This is an amazing company and we will be forever customers. “Shipyard K9 has been our go to spot for dog supplies and care in the heart of 24th & Mission for close to a year. The staff is super friendly and they've been so attentive in making sure we get the snacks, toys, or services for our pup.We come here pretty regularly for grooming services as well and they have a great self service wash station! Our (sometimes stinky) pup always leaves the shop looking and smelling extra fresh.Highly recommend for any local pet owners in the Mission District and beyond!”

“Huge selection of pet stuff, it’s like a small warehouse type store ie. Smart&Final. They even had a really well curated selection of products for exotic pets (reptiles, rodents, aquarium, and birds), more selection than what your typical Petco might sell. They always have coupons and prices are lower than other stores in the area in my experience. One of the ladies who is a cashier is so nice and always makes sure to apply any coupons she knows about and make conversation with you. ☺️”

“Pet food express is my go-to shop for premium quality dog food. A large selection of toys is available for cats and dogs. There's also wash stations for those who are not able to wash at home. A shout out to all of the staff who are always helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Forget about Petco or Petsmart when you are shopping for quality goods for your pets. This place came highly recommended to me and I am now a frequent shopper!”

“I miss West Pawtal SO MUCH! It used to be our go-to pet food and supply shop when we lived in the area until a couple months ago, when we moved up north. Tina is SO informed/educated on the products they carry in the store, she shows wonderful customer care/service (still texts me to wish me happy holidays), although they're a small business in the middle of San Francisco their prices are reasonable, and they carry SO MUCH product for the size of the shop! Wonderful place”

Brian was so kind to my mom - who is getting on in years and has vision problems - and walked her through finding just the right food for her finicky emotional support cat.

“We’re so grateful to have found this amazing place. Due to a cancellation, John was able to schedule us earlier before the holidays. Everyone is helpful and supportive from the first assessment to the subsequent physical therapy sessions. Our pet was diagnosed with FCE and was temporarily paralyzed in all four legs. Prior to finding Scout’s house, the ver prescribed steroids and pain killers, which made our dog miserable. We were quite at a loss about providing proper care.After his first session with Krista, he was able to sleep peacefully through the night. 3 sessions later, he is now able to walk again. We’re very thankful for their compassion and kindness.”
