“I came in at 4:55pm with a 25lb box, no shipping label, and no idea what service to use. They close at 5:00pm and I had full confidence that I wouldn’t get any help and would have to come back another day. I was so wrong! I was next in line and the clerk who took care of me was awesome. I said “I need help” to which he replied “I do too!” After a quick chuckle I told him I just need tracking, speed doesn’t matter. He gave me the cheapest option and got my label ready for me (the package to its destination in 2 business days for $28!). I was back in my car by 5:00pm. Every interaction I’ve had at this location has been very pleasant and the staff has been super helpful, knock on wood! That’s why I keep coming back to this one.”

“I want to give a shoutout to the USPS in El Granada, especially Postmaster Ron De Leon. He was a lifesaver with a recent issue I had. After I reported a missing package, Ron jumped into action and resolved it in less than 24 hours! He even personally called to update me. This experience has really changed my view on using USPS for important shipments. Big thanks for the outstanding help!”

“Wow. The negative reviews are a cornucopia of self-importance and neurosis rarely seen outside of a Starbucks line. The truth is that everyone who has worked at this post office in the past dozen years is nice and helpful. The patrons I've had occasion to speak to are also very friendly. Luckily, I never encountered any of the negative Yelp reviewers.”

“This is not the regular post office that I usually go to. But after reviewing the comments online, I decided to come here. I am not disappointed.
I need to mail the documents for passport renewal. For some reason, I feel insecure about having everything in the file. The lady assisting me even checked my stuff with me before sealing the envelope. It is so kind of her doing this. She also shares her experience on this renewal matter because she is seeing it every day. I am grateful for what she has done for me.
BTW, I went around 9:30 am and the parking was not bad.”

“I had an excellent experience at the Pacifica Post Office while applying for a new passport. Even without an appointment, the staff were incredibly professional, efficient, and courteous. They took the time to walk me through the entire application process, ensured all documents were in order, and processed everything smoothly. It's rare to find this level of service and patience—especially for something as important as a passport. I'm very grateful and highly recommend this location for passport services!”

“Not only is this post office so convenient from the Delaware St one, it has the nicest staff working there and they’re hard working at best! Always busy whenever I visit there.”

“My passport expired and was lost in my move from HI to SF. And I'm lazy and need my hand held. I made an appointment online for all the things- passport, picture, etc. When I arrived there was a bunch of people waiting in line for shipping packages. Once I got to the front, the super kind lady brought me through the side door to take my picture. She took a few snaps, asked me which one was best? I told her they all look the same. She went over my paperwork, had me make a few changes, additions, photocopied all the things (extra charge) and with the swipe of my debit card for $184.55, I was on my way. My passport arrived two weeks later. . . before my birth certificate. It was the most painless process ever and worth every penny. Here's the breakdown of pricing- USPS Passport Fee- $35 Photo Service- $15 Money Order- $130 Money Order Fee- $2.55 Copy Machine- $2”

“First time at this PO. Mind you, I've been to many, because I mail packages back home a lot. It was small but had all the necessary supplies for shipping, even a couple of local cards. Michael is not too friendly. I'd describe him as serious but polite, and that may have to do with him probably being the only clerk there. If you don't mind waiting and in no hurry, it's convenient for those of us who live in the area. He's a huge Warriors fan! From all the fan gear posted. Bay area sports represented, of course!”

“Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I had to do my passport application. It wasn’t crowded, they took my picture, had to do it again because it was a little blurry. Whole thing took less than twenty minutes.”

“These ladies have literally gone above and beyond for me with my packages to the UK. I'm sending packages out of country to my partner for my eventual move and they have made sure to make it as easy as possible. I've even gotten tips to make sure my package safe. They've greeted me with a smile, a funny story every single time I go in. People can be pretty awful to the USPS workers, I've seen it in both locations in the sunset but they take it in stride. Cheers to you, ladies! Thanks for making it not miserable sending these boxes monthly ?”

“My favorite post office and honestly often the highlight of the work days where I stop in. The folks working here are so friendly and they keep the line moving fast. ❤️Brisbane USPS, you encompass all the things I love about Brisbane.”

“I applied for my passport here. The worker served me very nicely and friendly. She had enough knowledge and answered my questions professionally. She explained me all the information.
Thank you very much Melissa!
P.S. My passport arrived quickly.”

“Generally a very good post office that takes care of lines quickly (mostly because we gays are always on the go and know what we want) and there is a lot of self-service supplies available as opposed to some city post offices where almost everything is locked up or depleted.

My only complaint is the lack of empathy for older clientele who struggle with computers. My client wanted to renew his PO Box and pay for another 6 months and the lady at the counter just kept repeating "ITS PAID TIL SEPTEMBER! GO TO THE WEBSITE!" Well, that's only 2 months away and the rate is $108/6 mo. Why can't we pay for his extension now? And I said probably three times that he gets frustrated using their website. He has renewed this way dozens of times including a few months ago. She could've made our lives a lot easier by processing a basic renewal.”

“I have been a customer here for at least 5 years. It is an excellent location, lots of street parking, very friendly staff and outstanding service. The lobby is always very clean and a very nice. I would not go anywhere else as they always take care of me.”

“The staff is what makes this place really great. The person at the counter helped me pick the right type of shipping and the best size of box to minimize cost. They're incredibly helpful and professional, even if the line is long.

Note: USPS charges you for tape! If you don't want to pay, then either bring tape or tape your packages at home. Even if you have to buy tape, it's still often cheaper than UPS or FedEx.”

“I visited today to set up a PO Box and despite the extremely busy line, Ireri made the entire process smooth and pleasant. She was patient, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout.

I also picked up some adorable Goodnight Moon stickers and stamps during my visit - such charming designs!

What impressed me most was Ireri’s genuine care and attention to detail while helping me navigate the PO Box application process. This kind of outstanding service doesn’t happen by accident - it’s clear the management team here has created an environment where we can see this level of excellence.

If you need to visit this post office, I hope you get Ireri. She made what could have been a stressful errand into a positive experience. Much more efficient than trying to do it online!

Thank you!”

“I've definitely had bad experiences at post offices: long lines, rude/impatient staff, random fees etc. This time was a lot different. I was trying to intercept a package before it was returned to sender for insufficient address(my fault). Raymundo was able to identify that the package was moved to a facility nearby to be sent back and he made a call for me. He found someone who was able to connect me with my package and was overall super helpful. Shoutout to my guy for the excellent work.”

“This is my favorite post office. I find the staff are totally professional. Their hours are excellent. The self-serve kiosk is always working, and the lady who accepts the packages at the counter is amazingly efficient and responsive. My only problem with this location is it’s hard to access on public transportation, which is not the USPS’s problem, but since the West Portal station is going to be closed for so long due to the fire there, I wish the postmaster would go to bat with MUNI over re-routing some buses to Lakeshore Plaza.”

Their staff is always friendly and helpful, and I appreciate the excellent customer service they provide. I have complete confidence in USPS to handle my important mail securely and promptly. Their commitment to service excellence makes them my go-to choice for all my mailing needs!”

The office was well-organized, with clear signage and ample space for customers. Despite the busy atmosphere, the employees remained calm and focused, providing excellent service to everyone. I was impressed by their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, I highly recommend this USPS office for anyone in the area needing mailing or shipping services.”

“I remember growing up and having to drop off mail for my parents.
I'm happy to see this place is still alive and kicking. It looks like they've cut their hours significantly.
Overall, the place is clean and not too busy. When I came to get a receipt for a package, I was dropping off at the window. There was no one there, but as soon as I said, "Hello," someone came running. She was super helpful and nice. Parking is very hard here that's why people always tend to double park ?‍♀️”
