“I stopped by this Post Office to mail a birthday gift to a family member, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The staff was friendly and took extra care in packaging the fragile item securely. They also offered advice on the best shipping method for timely delivery. The rates were very affordable, especially considering the level of care and attention given to the package. My gift arrived on time and in perfect condition. I’m definitely coming back for all my future mailing needs!”

“The owner, Z, is incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. I’ve used their Live Scan fingerprinting service, and the whole process was smooth and convenient.
One of the best things about this location is that you can drop off USPS, UPS, and FedEx packages all in one place. It saves so much time not having to go to multiple locations. While I haven’t personally used their other services, I believe they also offer document printing and passport photos.
Overall, excellent customer service. Highly recommend!”
“The staff here are so kind and friendly ❤ and very patient...They were very helpful when I was trying to send my Selective Service letter. They were also extremely patient when I came to fill out my passport application: I was late and filled out both pages incorrectly...so grateful the staff took their time with me ❤? thank you ?
Also glad the office finally got an AC! No idea how the workers were surviving in summer months before that ?”
“The lobby, where postal boxes are located is closed now in the evening, from 19:30 until 8:00. That’s somehow inconvenient but it’s for safety since it’s too close Pacifica beach and some people spent the night inside, charged their phones, etc.”
“Going to Linda Mar Post Office and doing business at this particular location is always a pleasant occasion. The employees are helpful and very courteous and exemplary in giving that much fabled service with a smile. Thank you so much.”
“The line can sometimes be long and there’s usually just the one lady working. She’s very nice, though. Parking is impossible, I gotta hike in. No self-kiosk machine either, which is a nice touch in other post offices.”
“An amazing USPS branch! The staff works like gods! They are open on Saturdays and treat customers with great respect. This place deserves 5 stars. A truly authentic American spot! This is a very authentic place, and the employee at the mail counter is wonderful—it's just like a museum! ?”
“Not only is this post office so convenient from the Delaware St one, it has the nicest staff working there and they’re hard working at best! Always busy whenever I visit there.”
“My passport expired and was lost in my move from HI to SF. And I'm lazy and need my hand held. I made an appointment online for all the things- passport, picture, etc. When I arrived there was a bunch of people waiting in line for shipping packages. Once I got to the front, the super kind lady brought me through the side door to take my picture. She took a few snaps, asked me which one was best? I told her they all look the same. She went over my paperwork, had me make a few changes, additions, photocopied all the things (extra charge) and with the swipe of my debit card for $184.55, I was on my way. My passport arrived two weeks later. . . before my birth certificate. It was the most painless process ever and worth every penny. Here's the breakdown of pricing- USPS Passport Fee- $35 Photo Service- $15 Money Order- $130 Money Order Fee- $2.55 Copy Machine- $2”
“Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I had to do my passport application. It wasn’t crowded, they took my picture, had to do it again because it was a little blurry. Whole thing took less than twenty minutes.”
“I appreciate the work of my local post office in montara California. Felix and Curtis are awesome, friendly and always helpful. They are and extension to the community.”
“For starters some individuals should honestly keep their prissy, bigotry, and zealous “Opinions” to themselves. 1st. Everyone knows Postal workers are dedicated Govt. employees that connect us all to and from people and parcels. 2nd. Awareness of your surroundings? You are downtown at Civic Center (one of the largest transit terminals in the Bay Area), and complaining that you’re 14th in-line @ 4:00pm on a “FRIDAY” with 1 worker present. Screams ignorance, and lacking a key virtue Patience… Post St opens till 6pm + China Town are also
open on Saturdays for convenience. I’m here weekly, random time and day, the office is perfectly fine, the surrounding (Fox plaza owned) building is aged. The staff takes care of all customers in the lobby even being the 20th in line. They’re customer service driven all the while being helpful and friendly.”
“Warning you will need to go through security on the south side (if you come from the north, they’ll make you walk around outside). It’s located in the basement. Another warning is that there is no signal (or Wi-Fi) bc it’s in the basement, so if you need a QR code, take a screenshot of it beforehand.Celipe (I may have gotten the name kind of wrong, but he’s an older gentleman), was very friendly and helpful. There was no wait either! I was in and out in minutes!”
“These ladies have literally gone above and beyond for me with my packages to the UK. I'm sending packages out of country to my partner for my eventual move and they have made sure to make it as easy as possible. I've even gotten tips to make sure my package safe. They've greeted me with a smile, a funny story every single time I go in. People can be pretty awful to the USPS workers, I've seen it in both locations in the sunset but they take it in stride. Cheers to you, ladies! Thanks for making it not miserable sending these boxes monthly ?”
“First time at this PO. Mind you, I've been to many, because I mail packages back home a lot. It was small but had all the necessary supplies for shipping, even a couple of local cards. Michael is not too friendly. I'd describe him as serious but polite, and that may have to do with him probably being the only clerk there. If you don't mind waiting and in no hurry, it's convenient for those of us who live in the area. He's a huge Warriors fan! From all the fan gear posted. Bay area sports represented, of course!”
“My favorite post office and honestly often the highlight of the work days where I stop in. The folks working here are so friendly and they keep the line moving fast. ❤️Brisbane USPS, you encompass all the things I love about Brisbane.”
“Saturday morning with little wait.
Quality, friendly, and efficient postal service. The man working the front counter will answer your questions and even make sure you have everything else needed.”
“Your associate, Mike, is the best of all your agents. He is knowledgeable, professional , kind and courteous. He is always helpful and goes above and beyond attending to your mail & postage concerns and properly guides you all the way.”
“The two men there on a Saturday were awesome and super helpful ! We sent birthday packages to family and they helped us determine best/cheapest mailing boxes. Great experience”
“Generally a very good post office that takes care of lines quickly (mostly because we gays are always on the go and know what we want) and there is a lot of self-service supplies available as opposed to some city post offices where almost everything is locked up or depleted.
My only complaint is the lack of empathy for older clientele who struggle with computers. My client wanted to renew his PO Box and pay for another 6 months and the lady at the counter just kept repeating "ITS PAID TIL SEPTEMBER! GO TO THE WEBSITE!" Well, that's only 2 months away and the rate is $108/6 mo. Why can't we pay for his extension now? And I said probably three times that he gets frustrated using their website. He has renewed this way dozens of times including a few months ago. She could've made our lives a lot easier by processing a basic renewal.”
“Usually I have awful slow experiences at the post office but this one was surprisingly great! Darcy was so pleasant and friendly and the line was short and moved fast for my quick return drop off and stamp purchase. Thanks Darcy!”
“Good USPS conveniently located in the flat part of Bernal Heights near the Mission. It's a small post office, but it has everything I needed. There was sometimes a long line during busy periods, but the staff work to get everyone through at a reasonable pace.”
“I have been a customer here for at least 5 years. It is an excellent location, lots of street parking, very friendly staff and outstanding service. The lobby is always very clean and a very nice. I would not go anywhere else as they always take care of me.”
“Jennifer is a real gem ? for this location! I have always come here but not often seen a very lively staff like Jennifer! She is great, friendly, knowledgeable and calm despite being the only one on the floor! Thank you for bringing this energy to this location!!! ?”
“As a postal worker myself, I recognized the kind and professional demeanor of the clerks. Assisting someone had led me to this location a few times, and these clerks were always swift, friendly and knowledgeable. Good job!!!!”
“BEST LITTLE CORNER OF USPS in SSF. This Post Office is small and clean ans staffed with nice efficient counter staff. Those of us living in this area should lend our full support to make sure that we can keep this nice station open. It’s a luxury not having to drive far or to deal with unhappy staff for our postal need.
I was helped today by a young lady who so efficiently and quickly took care of my mail. Thank You ?? 5/21/2026”
