“Blick Art is housed on 1844 India Street in Little Italy in San Diego. I had called so many places looking for foam core or museum board for my daughter's college project to no avail. Then, I remembered passing that store a few nights ago and called them. They had what she needed and when we arrived a salesperson called Dean knew exactly what we needed and helped us (thank you Dean) for great service and being so efficient and just making the purchase seem effortless! What an amazingly helpful guy who genuinely seemed to like what he does! The selections are really good and everything seems so well organized and clean!! I can't say enough how much I love being in a store where staff seem happy and the place looks great!!! I'll definitely be back as they have such a great selection of pens and most anything art related! Thanks Blick for being my new go to place even if you are 1/2 an hour away- you are worth it!!”

“Very good materials, I got my first set of gouache there and they’ve worked just fine. My only issue is that its a bit overpriced, but I guess that’s normal with art supplies!”

“Wanted framing done for a signed concert poster. I was a little nervous as it had great personal value to me.I was helped by Joseph B. who was incredibly knowledgeable on recommendations for preserving and displaying the poster such as UV protective glass, acid-free board, and spacers. When he was done, it was perfect! I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out!The only potential issue I had was with the stores liability policy. I originally wanted to order a custom frame, but they limit liability at $250 which doesn't come close to anything I would consider custom framing. I really feel the store should provide some options for higher value items, as anything else I'd probably try and frame myself. I would definitely be willing to pay some extra for the assurance.Anyways, again major thanks to Joseph for a great job and also to Monica for being a super friendly cashier.”

“WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!! Everyone there was so kind and helpful. I was given a discount for being a first time customer and buying lots of beads which is so kind! I was also given a pastry while walking around and every question I asked was answered. I will for sure be coming back! Thank you!”

“I have been a teacher for 7 years, and today I decided to go to Lakeshore (the last time I visited this store was about 10 years ago). I walked out of there MIND BLOWN! The back to school sales are INSANE, and just EVERYTHING is quality material! The workers were constantly checking in with me and also offering to go check the back for more supplies! I feel like I have missed out for years now! They truly have the best selection and can't beat the prices for the amount/bulk they sell! I walked out of there with the best deals and the best items to set me up for the year!”
