“First and foremost, Charles Koll makes beautiful jewelry. No argument. If you’re looking for a custom piece, you would do well to come to this jeweler for quality and craftsmanship. My only complaint is the amount of time it takes and the lack of communication. I ordered a custom ring and told them my deadline which was 2+ months out. Assured that this would not be an issue, I paid my deposit and waited. As the date got closer, I became slightly nervous the ring would be done on time. I called and was assured the ring would be done a full week before the due date. The day came and went without any updates or notification. I finally called back and reminded them that I needed the ring by a certain day and was told someone would call me later that day for an update. Nope. The ring was ready the day before I needed it so in the end, no harm was done. However, as someone who is in a customer service role, I believe it is incredibly important to communicate with the customer in an honest way. If I had been told “your ring will be ready the day before your due date” I would have been forewarned. Instead, I had to play a game of telephone with the jeweler and that’s not a pleasant experience. So, 5 stars for the quality of the ring but 4 stars for customer experience.”

We purchased a 3 ct cushion cut diamond from Gerry. He was able to have his partner jeweler set it in the most perfect design based of reference photos I gave him. I get so many compliments on how gorgeous my ring is. Even when I went to another jeweler to have my watch serviced, the jeweler commented on my ring. Warning, he isn't immediately responsive by text. He is better with phone calls.”
