“What is the one thing that is so sweet for the Holidays and yes with the biggest coming and with the merriest one of them all just shortly after the great pleaser that you can't get enough? Think hard and the taste will come to your lips and the sweet smell will make you say See's Candies yes, the ones that can be found in the airports. When you go to the many store4s and the shops in the malls you see the black and white awning and the sweet smell of Choclate that comes out the door. With the many years that sees has been around that I know kids like the suckers the caramel and the dark chocolate one of the best is the Milk Chocolate that you can suck on all day through. Having seen the many boxes of See's at Christmas and when you go to the many fancy dinner parties, they would have chocolates on the fancy serving trays. The chews and the butter crams and the people pleaser the Bon Bons the perfect holiday chocolate the coffee flavors and the key limes and the orange bon bons. To pick one up you can put one down they are so good and the ingredients that See's use is all natural and for those that would like to find the Kosher is all See's Products they are Kosher. The one location that has been a great favorite of mine the many times that I traveled to the Loma Portal Area it's been the large shopping mall where you find the Big5 Sporting Goods and the Big Lots store you will see at the end the Sees store with the many displays and the colorful displays and with Thanksgiving coming. The checkerboard pattern has always caught my eye and the picture of the of the lady reminds me of my grandmother the many great chocolate creations have come from those that have created many recipes making fudge the old-fashioned way. Loma Portal See's Staff is the greatest staff with the one on work with customers to let you taste the new flavors some of the best the addition to your order the do ask you," Would you like gift orders or special orders?" They are always helpful on the candy with the nuts and the chews you can also get the Rum Raisin or the Butter Scotch Squares. Some of the best chocolates and the Holiday Chocolates are the best from See's. From the orders I have purchased and sent to my friends and picked the mixed boxes the ones they can share with others and with the family. Going to the See's Chocolate Retail Outlet is one of the best and it touches your heart when you have the nice ladies help you out with your orders. The store does close early before the 600pm. As a Yelp Elite See's Candy stores are the best and with the coming of the holidays is to remember the many and you can get the many gifts and the extra treat for the dinner party or if you need for Christmas and the Greatest thing is the taste of See's Chocolate.”

“Definitely one of the places one cannot just pass by without hesitation especially when you are at the mall and you wanna have a treat with all the other coffee shops and boba places close by. It is a small location for the fashion valley mall but a little patience and friendly staff go a long way here :) Every few months they give a coupon for upcoming sales and that's when I tend to splurge more on haha.”

“Wandered in here on accident and now it's a must every time we're near Ocean Beach. Where else can you get a bag of delicious homemade chocolates for less than $10 in California? The ladies who are always there are truly the nicest. It's hard to pick a favorite but the dark pecan toffee, the mint truffles, the dark raspberry truffles, and chocolate bark.. incredible. They have other candies too but you really can't beat the handmade, homemade chocolates. Everyone should try this cute little spot.”

“I do like coming here every now and then for the free samples. Heather and Kassandra are my two favorite employees as they're very sweet and offer wonderful customer service. However, I had a not so pleasant encounter with Evelyn although before I'm sure I had a good experience with her just like the others. There was a customer ordering things and I wasn't so sure whether they were done with their transaction or not which Evelyn was handling. I wanted a free sample and shockingly, she condescendingly corrected me to the point where probably other customers in the store witnessed it due to her voice being a bit loud. Mind you, I'm slightly differently abled and an overthinker so that was shaming and embarrassing for me. It made me feel guilty. I apologized to the customer if I was disrupting their process of checking out and they said I was fine which is good. Evelyn was then able to provide me a free sample but what she said just guilt tripped me.”

“Candy shop that has a mix of "old school" candies and off brands that you generally have to find in a specialty spot. They have a large variety and offer many candy items by the pound. They have various flavors of candies sold separately so if you prefer one flavor over the other you can get your favorite choice! Staff is friendly and prices are as expected for a specialty candy shop.”

“I'm a sucker for see's candy. I was waiting to meet sonmeone so I stopped in to grab a piece of chocolate. It always smells so good in the stores which isn't surprising because chocolate confections.. I wandered around looking at the very tempting holiday offerings and decided on a marshmallow tree. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and this was no exception. I was offered a piece of dark or milk chocolate and was given a chocolate butterscotch sample. Yum.The chocolate I purchased was $4 which is quite pricey but I expect the high prices from see's and only stop in occasionally. My favorites are scotchmallows so that's usually what I get.”

“Wicked Popcorn offered a tasty selection of flavors for National Popcorn Day. I ordered a variety three-pack of flavors online to bring to the airport while I was working: Jalapeno Cheddar, Caramel, and White Chocolate Pretzel. The website made ordering super convenient. When I arrived to pick up my popcorn though, there was initially some confusion about my order. Despite this small hiccup, the staff quickly resolved the issue by helping me re-order my desired flavors on the spot. I appreciate how they handled the situation promptly and made things right. The popcorn flavors themselves were a big hit at the airport! I shared them with pilots and passengers, and everyone raved about the delicious, gourmet popcorn. The Jalapeño Cheddar had just the right kick, the sweet Caramel simply melted in your mouth, and the White Chocolate Pretzel provided the perfect sweet and salty combo.I'll definitely be ordering from Wicked Popcorn again - their flavors are creative and tasty. Even when there was an initial order issue, they resolved it quickly to ensure I still had popcorn to enjoy. Thanks for making National Popcorn Day wickedly delicious!”

“It's a sugar bank with all the goods!! Kids loved it, and they even convinced me to eat some candy, too. They have some obscure selections unique to its store as well as vintage flavors that remind you of memories past. Fun little spot.”

“Small boutique by the movie theaters and also near Shake Shack. We came to the mall on a weekday and decided to get treats to bring home. When we passed by, there was a sign indicating that staff was on break so we decided to come back after lunch. When we came back there was a lady behind the counter and she was assisting other customers. Yes, this candy is expensive but holy cow are they delicious. My husband like the gummy candies, and the one we picked out were very flavorful. I wish there were samples so that you're able to try them, but they do sell sample packets (4 for $10). Each sample packet some with about 10 pieces of small candies. My daughter chose the sea salt caramels and when I tried them they were delicious. The chocolate was not too overbearing and had a small hint of sea salt. The caramel was the right amount of stickiness and didn't stick too much to your teeth. Packaging is beautiful and a nice gift for those who appreciate sweets!”

“I purchased a few packs of their Valentine's day packs that advertised "28 pops and cards. I opened them to find all the pops, but only 12 cards in each box. I reached out to their customer service and... They were amazing. They apologized and within a few days the replacement cards were in my mailbox. They hand pack the boxes and people make mistakes. What counts, is if they're willing to fix it. They were. Would definitely buy from them again.”

“I've seen the negative reviews of this spot and I don't get it. We browsed around on a Sunday afternoon as the vendors outside were wrapping up. We all grabbed a few treats, went to the counter, and paid. The gentleman behind the counter answered all of our questions and we were on our way.”

“I hate that we were unable to take pictures inside or outside the place. Due to EstablishmentRequirements.I'm from San Diego but I've been living in Dallas for over a decade, and I brag highly about our Mexican food and Mexican candy. This place is amazing and reminded me so much of my childhood to the fullest . I came across candies that I haven't seen since my single digit age. Some of my favorites,Which are; the chamoy cups that are accompanied with aSaladito, the watermelon suckers with and without chili ,The lucus powders spicy/tangy,And the vero candy balls which comes in different fruit flavors. My favorites are the watermelon and strawberry. My kids laughed at my excitement in this store. I spent A little over $20 on just candy , and it didn't not last me until the next day.I just knew I hit the jackpot with this place. However ,There was one thing that didn't sit too right with me . Which Was that they Informed me that they did not have an online store /site ! So allThe candies I wanted I had to get in person . I requested their vendors etc but they declined.Which I understood,Because honestly I wouldn't want to give upThe details either In fear that someone wouldBuy it all up ..So anyone visiting San Diego orAlready living in San Diego and looking our childhoodMexican candy . Be sure to check out this candy shop located in the Old Town San Diego state historic park .”

“Stopped in here yesterday just to check out Mexican candy and ended up leaving with a blanket and a huge framed Marilyn Monroe poster. The amount of candy was massive but I was impressed with the large selection of souvenirs and other items neatly displayed. Prices were cheaper than any other vendor in the area. Owner was very nice and held our items until we were done running around in Old Town for the day.”
