“This location was very tiny, not many options to choose from if you are wanting to try things you have seen trending online. Gets packed easily as well since it is a small location.”

“I’ve loved Trader Joe’s for decades and my preference is the Mission Valley location. Seems like everyone’s these days - parking is more scarce. Today’s visit, Kristi, Adrian and Joe deserve Joe’sGems (work recognition) for great energy and superior customer service. Thank you for going the extra step.”

“Large selection of products from Asia or for Asians. A lot of these products have labels in Asian languages that can be translated using Google translate & your camera.”

“Trader Joe's has the best staff and welcoming attitude. I love their frozen Indian dishes, MAC and cheese. Fettuccine Alfredo and potstickers. Chocolate ganache cake is yummy. Good produce and fresh flowers.”

“I was helped today at the College Ave Trader Joe’s (store# 0224) by a sweet soul, Andrea M, to my delight. She took such amazing care of me, was kind, understanding, and extremely professional. She knows how to handle tricky situations while making the customer feel welcome and appreciated. For this reason, Andrea is one in a million. I hope her manager appreciates her, because if I were hiring right now I’d hire her immediately!!! ?”

“How have I not shared a review of this place yet? I go there all the time! I think they're mainly known for their sandwiches and it's very busy around lunch time during the week - i'd recommend ordering ahead during those times. They also have an amazing, ever changing selection of food from different countries. There are so many delicious snack options (esp love the German chocolates). There's a minimal selection of fresh food which is to be expected in a place like this, but if you need something like eggs or an onion, you can still get it here. There are staples like pasta and beans as well. The best part is how friendly the people who work here are! It's always a pleasure to go and I'm thankful this place exists.”

“Pola Market is crucial part of this neighborhood! This is a small market in the middle of a neighborhood and they treat you like a neighbor! Always friendly and remember your name. They got a little bit of everything. You can count on this place to come through for those things you forgot to pickup when you were at the grocery store and didn't remember you needed it until you go to use it and it's gone. For me that always seems to be coffee creamer lol. So it's nice to be able to walk to the corner and know that they got what I need!”

“Literally the best TJ in San Diego. They are always stocked... especially with the new items. They also carry a large selection of the kosher meat in this location if anyone is looking. The staff is beyond friendly ( I mean I've never been to a location where they were not) only downside is the parking. One thing I'm not the biggest fan of at TJ is the produce. I feel like normally they would go bad after only a few days. For some reason the produce selection at this TJ is amazing. If you are looking for a location fully to stocked and large with good produce I would go here.”

“My favorite Trader Joe's. Plenty of space, quick to get in/out, a great selection, and pleasant staff.

Park in the back of the lot closest to Garnet. Like all Trader Joe’s parking lots, it’s thunderdome the closer you get to the entrance. There’s actually plenty of space but I approach from the east.”

“Sandwich's are decent but sometimes on the bland side. I appreciate the pickle but I go there as a last measure and running out of time in my schedule. But they have friendly people working there so 4 stars.”

“This is my favorite supermarket and my favorite TJs San Diego location. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, the store is bigger and less claustrophobic than other TJs locations, and the store layout is logical making it easy to find what you need. This location has great live plants and cut flowers and they always go the extra yard to make the shopping experience for my 6 year old daughter fun. They hide a stuffed seal named Seymour and if a child finds it they can get a lollipop (if their parents are ok with it) and they always give children stickers at check out. Overall this Trader Joe's has lots of fresh fruit and vegetable, meat and fresh fish, delicious frozen meals, wine and beer and lots of seasonal and signature products all at a great price.”

“Excellent little store. Mexican influenced. Prices are friendly for almost all items. Certainly doesn't have the selection of a supermarket but doesn't come with bloated prices either.Marinated meats are a solid choice.”

“Every time we come to San Diego we stop at this Trader Joe's and load up on our favorite items. We love Trader Joe's! Our experience this last visit was beyond stellar! The staff has always been friendly and kind at every single T.J.'s we have visited, but Alexsandr at Liberty Station was phenomenal. He saw my three children as we came up to the check out, ran and got them stickers, and then invited them to run the check out of our groceries. He basically began to train them on how to scan each of the items, enter produce and weigh it, as well as bag everything up. It is an experience we have talked about for days since. His kindness, love for his job, and love for the people (strangers) that come through his check out line, is clearly evident. Thank you Trader Joe's for hiring such an amazing employee, and thank you Alexsandr for creating a special memory that will forever be etched on our hearts!”

“Jimbo's is one of our favorite stores, however, we're very sad and disappointed to say that we are finding some of the produce is just not getting changed out when it is no longer fresh. That said, other items in the store are just fine and the staff is very friendly.”

“Amazing hand picked beer selection, staff is always friendly and helpful. Sometimes prices can be over compared to others outside of downtown. But I always overlook the prices by the great selection, central location, and friendly service. Try out the sandwiches and fresh deli options, they even have Togo artisan pizzeria slices! It's really a one stop shop. :)”

“Recently found this gem and can’t stop coming back! I’m amazed by the huge selection and variety of products. Truly a one stop shop! From the exotic snacks and energy drinks, to the HUGE selection of wine, this place is where it’s at. They also have (literally) everything needed in a pinch; deodorant, cutlery, birthday cards and stationary, tools. You name it, they have it. Also can’t miss the friendly faces up front and all the vapes, wraps, glass, and lotto behind the counter!”

“Live this place! It's like a foodie fruit and veggie lovers paradise. I live coming down wherever I am downtown to see what new treasures they have. Very kind of wild exotic fruit I have seen online and wanted to try. I come back to very chance I get. It's where all of the top restaurants shop at so You Know that the quality of the items are top notch and high quality. Highly recommend!”

“I had the pleasure of visiting the East Village store 12/5/23. What a sweet and pleasant surprise to see how accommodating this employer was to a new mom. At first glance, her front pack was invisible, completely blending into her black shirt. From the side view, her precious infant's face was partly visible, contentedly sleeping and snuggling mom during the work shift. It was a very touching thing to see and made me smile the rest of the day. I remember how grueling it was in 1998, juggling daycare drop-offs and pick-ups, breastfeeding and pumping, while still trying to find enough energy to actually do my job at the office. Kudos to this EV store! It was incredibly uplifting to see some progress has been made in this regard over the last 25 years.?????”
