“Lots of fun shopping at Tokyo Central & Main on Convoy Street! So many fun things for sale: appliances, cooking supplies, toys, gundam, Pokémon, hello kitty, tomogotchi, cosmetics and more. Can spend forever looking through everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommend!”

“I really want to acknowledge the phenomenal captain of this store, Matt. Never had someone so helpful and friendly! I really appreciate his knowledge and input & and that of another employee’s whose name I didn’t catch, especially when it comes to sunscreen (lol).
Food wise: my family has always relied on trader joe’s; I think their combo of frozens + fresh makes it really easy for the average shopper to put together some quick and tasty meals! Faves of mine personally: green thai curry (frozen) and mediterranean salad mix (fresh).
In general, this story is always clean and well stocked, which is impressive considering the amount of college kids coming from the nearby university. Something on a much smaller level is that I recognize a lot of the employees here. This may not seem like a big deal to many shoppers, but I really appreciate seeing the same routine friendly faces. All the employees have historically done a fabulous job handling the chaos from limited edition drops! This is been my home store for a couple years and I’m very sad to be leaving it.”

The waters or aka AGUAS FRESCAS are a delicious delicacy that is handcrafted by workers who have mastered the michoacana flavors. The pizzeria is placed just right infront of the store and along with an enthusiastic and welcoming pizza girl that greets you with a “Welcome to Manolos would you like a SAMPLE” so as soon as you walk in you already know your going to walk around with a free yes FREE sample of there delicious pizza. Feel welcome to experience San Diego’s finest farmers market.”
“Great fresh produce and plants. Nice add ons. Everything from Julian bakeries (bread and pies) and to local artisans (everything from jarred roasted bell peppers to homemade hummus, jams and sauces). They have it all at reasonable prices in a sikple, weather proof environment. The ultimate indoor, always open when convenient, farmers market. Love them!”
“Always go to get some groceries, the customer service team is always there to help out when you need something you can’t find. Big open space for seasonal items and sushi is always fresh! They serve musubi’s now!! (Rice balls that have filling inside).”
“I’ve been shopping at Grocery Outlet Point Loma for years. They consistently have an excellent selection of organic produce, quality meats, and occasional hard-to-find items like New Zealand lamb. The red wine selection is surprisingly good, and there’s a gentleman there who is always helpful with recommendations and questions.
I always check the first couple aisles for practical kitchen gadgets and usually leave with a few greeting cards for the year ahead. Fair prices, friendly staff, and a well-run store. Hard to ask for much more than that.”
“Amazing food. First off sandwiches I eat every bite leaving no crumbs. When I got braces I switched to the soups and a mildy toasted roll and my stomach didnt suffer at all. I am really going to miss this place being on my route for work. Rome is so kind she puts all the love in their food.”

“It's worth a trip if you like delicious Carne Asada and adobada. They prep the meat really well and it taste delicious. We seriously drive here just for the meat. I wish I could tell you more about the store, but the carniceria/butcher shop is always our target, and it's always a win. Try it.”
