Located in the business area of Miramar or Mira Mesa, this tiny little market sponsored by the French society of San Diego carries authentic, shipped from France merchandise at somewhat reasonable prices. I have been shopping here for several years, and I am always happy with the quality of their products; the freshness, taste, appearance, and the extremely friendly and helpful staff that are more than willing to assist you. Once you enter this tiny establishment, you will be hooked as I was many years ago. Inside you will find an assortment of meats, cheeses, French butter, jams, preserves, cookies, duck rigglets, various pates, sauces, pastries, dry goods, candies, frozen foods (i.e, duck confit, sausages, escargot, veggies, etc.), oils, pastas, canned seafoods (tuna, sardines, cuttlefish...), and numerous seasonal items. Have a look at my photos and you will see how rewarding a visit could be. Highly recommended.”

“This place is a GEM! Fantastic selection of domestic and imported cheeses, drinks, snacks. They have a lot of locally made gourmet foods available. Great craft beer and wine (local and imported) selection. It's located close to Pure Project and I recommend getting food here first.They have a fantastic and reasonably price deli inside with tons of food options all prepared fresh. You can tell this place is a neighborhood staple.”

“This is a small Latin market focused on imported Argentinian products. They have variety of items. For people who comes from that part of the continent, definitely will feel like home. I came here to purchase Yerba Mate. They have a good variety of it and for people who knows and enjoys Mate I will definitely recommend to take a visit here. I used to buy them in Mexico but, I guess no more. Also, they have Guaraná drinks and other goodies.”
“This is one of a few stores that sell orange soda (my husband favorite soft drink). We stop by here a couple times a week just for orange soda. The guys working here have always been friendly and welcoming. Parking is good and the store is clean and organized. They are a small supermarket but carry a full selection of products, meats, canned goods, dairy and more.”
“My first time shopping at in Indian grocery store and this westerner girl will be returning! There's an abundance of Indian cookies and chips in the packaged snack aisle. I didn't know that potato chips were a big deal in India. The lentil aisle is like the rainbow, they had every color of lentil you could think of. The produce quality was hit and miss if I'm being honest. Most of the herbs and spices I got were fresh though. The spice aisle is what you wish American stores like vons had. You die and go to spice heaven. All sorts of masalas and chilis etc. The frozen section had exotic ice creams like fenugreek and pistachio. They also had a section for votive candles and incense along with Diwali decor. The grocers were busy and kind of kept to themselves. I'm glad I brought my Indian friend to show me all the good brands. Overall this will be my go to ethnic Indian market during my time in SD!”

“Pola Market is crucial part of this neighborhood! This is a small market in the middle of a neighborhood and they treat you like a neighbor! Always friendly and remember your name. They got a little bit of everything. You can count on this place to come through for those things you forgot to pickup when you were at the grocery store and didn't remember you needed it until you go to use it and it's gone. For me that always seems to be coffee creamer lol. So it's nice to be able to walk to the corner and know that they got what I need!”
