“I always get lost in this store in the best possible way. They have a great selection of everything for the home, just give yourself time to sift through everything. Got a bunch of really nice frames. Great candles (even soy based). There's a bathroom in the back, could be cleaner by fine enough. I always wait a little in line to pay but never as long as at the one in mission valley. Bonus that the shopping center also has a tj maxx, sprouts and dollar store.”

“Four Marshalls, 5 days! After finding a sweater I loved at Marshalls Solana Beach - but only in my size in 1 of 3 colors - I visited three other Marshalls over the next few days in the hopes I'd luck out there. Carmel Mountain was the worst, little selection, they'd never seen the sweater (which is prominently featured right now at SB). Some things must be saved for certain stores. La Jolla Village Square had more of the sweater (an Anne Klein short-sleeved top) - but sadly, still not in my size in the color I needed. So I headed over to Marshall's Mira Mesa. The selection there was smaller than SB or LJVS... BUT it was extremely well-organized and there were friendly staff. The checkout line was the fastest! And I did find one sweater I liked that was different. AND they had sunglasses, which out of the other stores only SB had (& no sunglasses I liked). So I scored a cute $19.99 sweater for work; a cute pair of French Connection sunglasses for $9.99 - and then some Bad Girl Bang blue mascara (which I think is discontinued) for $9.99. So here: Selection 3.5 (not huge but some good stuff), Customer Service 5, Checkout 5! Glad to know this store is way better than Carmel Mountain Plaza - and it's certainly fast to shop in because it's not huge and stuff was laid out well.”
“My favorite place to shop at, the place is very new and clean, employees are super helpful and not pushy at all. They have a restaurant on the second floor and the food there is delicious. I wish they had a little more variety of brands but it definitely is an entertaining stop for shopping and you would more than likely find what you are looking for.”

“My recent visit to the Marshall's on Balboa and Genesee was a bit of a mixed experience. I went in with a few specific items in mind, but unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for.
On the upside, I did manage to find a fantastic pair of Italian leather shoes that are incredibly comfortable – a definite win!
However, the beauty department was a bit of a letdown. It felt quite cramped and messy, making it hard to browse. More notably, I struggled to find any body oils that didn't contain almond or coconut, which was disappointing as I specifically avoid those ingredients. I used to rely on them carrying pure rosehip seed oil, but it wasn't available this time around.
Overall, while I scored a great pair of shoes, the limited selection in some areas and the condition of the beauty department meant it wasn't a completely successful shopping trip. It's a place where you might find a gem, but it's not guaranteed.”

My experience at the JCPenney Salon on 03/23 was beyond my belief, the team welcomed me with a warm genuine greetings from the moment I entered. The salon felt like a tranquil sanctuary, not just a retail space. The hair salon manager Tiena is a friendly person who suggested Zina would be the perfect hair stylist for my natural African hair. Indeed the Master Stylist Zina with 31+ year experience did sculpted my curls to perfection, her service is 10/10. It was an honor to have known her. She has a magic hands and does an awesome job. I highly recommend her service to my fellow African and African Americans. She shampooed my hair 3 times as it had hair oil and left it for about 5 minutes after she applied the conditioner. Blow dried it out and did the flat iron curls and it looked gorgeous ?. Price was quite reasonable. You can do an online booking or call the store and check If she can take you in as a walk-in. I highly recommend her service. Thank you so much Tiena for your suggestion and Zina for your friendly and professional service. I hope to see you soon.”

“The selection here isn't bad, I usually get lucky and find at least one nice thing, whether it's clothing or shoes. I like the workout equipment section, it's hard to get smaller dummbells for a good deal now a days. The only reason I took off a star is customer service can be great or unpleasant. I understand the associates are required to ask someone who does not have a TJ Maxx credit card if they'd like to sign up. But I do not think it is appropriate to be given attitude if I kindly refuse a rep three times in a row. I am not trying to shift the blame on the associates. I think it's important for higher level managment to not punish reps so hard for not hitting their credit card sign up quotas.”
“My experience started horrible. I asked a young man by the name of Ivan for help and he was extremely rude. Would not even make eye contact with me. Thankfully a sweet young lady by the name of Esmeralda was very helpful and took excellent care of me. Very good customer service skills. Made my experience so much better.”
