The MCAS Miramar Commissary is a grocery store with very good prices, offering a good selection of everything expected. It features a huge snack and chip selection, with fresh produce that is pretty good, including some tropical and exotic fruits, though not the very best. The meat is noted for being affordable and high quality, with discounted frozen options. The big, open space has seasonal items, fresh sushi, and musubi. While some discontinued products are missed, the overall value is highlighted, with prices lower than many outside markets. The customer service team is helpful, and the store provides a great visit.

Good selection, everything you would expect at a grocery store at very good prices. They do not have the very best produce, but it’s good enough.

Always go to get some groceries, the customer service team is always there to help out when you need something you can’t find. Big open space for seasonal items and sushi is always fresh! They serve musubi’s now!! (Rice balls that have filling inside).
