Petco is a leading health and wellness company dedicated to improving the lives of pets and their owners. The San Diego Petco store located at 10410 Friars Road offers a wide range of brand-name pet nutrition products and supplies for dogs, cats, birds, small pets, fish, and reptiles at competitive prices. The store's highly qualified professionals provide comprehensive services, including full-service grooming, veterinary care, Vetco Vaccination Clinics, pet adoption, and positive dog and puppy training classes. Customers can enjoy savings by shopping online and picking up in-store or through repeat delivery orders. While Petco is generally praised for its great selection and competitive prices, some customers have expressed disappointment with the store's recent shift in focus towards serving Amazon return customers. The prominent Amazon return line has overshadowed the pet store aspect, making it difficult for pet owners to navigate and access the store's core offerings. However, the store's veterinary services have received positive feedback, with customers appreciating the attentive care and attention provided by the doctor and assistant. Petco's commitment to the pet community remains an important aspect of the business, and the store continues to strive to meet the needs of its loyal customer base.
Great store. Staff is great. This is my favorite location based on selection and the staffing.

Petco is an easy one stop shop for vet stuff and animal products. The vet annual plan is def worth it!

I stopped going to the Petco near my house because their service (besides grooming) was subpar. I found this location and the cashier that is there has been super helpful. They're amazing and are so thoughtful of each customer and the interaction they have with us. Awesome store!
