“We drive all the way from SJ to get these delicious meats from Olivier's butchery. Yes, pricey. But..these are the best in the Bay. The quality of steaks are unmatched. It's as good or better than what the Bay area steakhouse serve. Please go out and support these local businesses. Especially like Olivier butchery that has grass fed and dry aged steaks, something you can't everywhere. And the staff always friendly!”

“I saw the store from the bus on the way back to my hotel and I HAD to hop off to check it out. I love local gourmet grocery stores and this didn't disappoint. It's very nice, mid-sized. They have a great selection of artisanal chocolates, many made locally in SF. Plenty of produce, frozen and refrigerated items, deli counters, standards.Prices are probably higher than Safeway, but it's nice to support a local business. The store is clean, well-lit, well-staffed on a weekday afternoon, and organized.”

“They have everything here, a butcher at the meat section, stocked shelves and very nice vegetables. Prices are a little high but they offer senior discounts to 55+ so make sure you ask for it before you pay.”

“The first thing I noticed when I walked in is how this place smelled exactly the same as the butcher shop my grandfather would take me to as a kid in the country outside of Buenos Aires. That smell that only comes from a butcher shop that’s making the sausages fresh, cutting the beef fresh, etc. That’s how I knew this place was legit without even trying anything. I’ve since tried a few of the sausages they have and they’re amazing. Again, the taste reminds me of the taste of the sausages my grandpa would buy from this old butcher in the country. It’s a taste you only get from butchers with a true sense of craftsmanship. Reminds me of a simpler time. I highly recommend the sausages, the meatloaf, and stuffed chicken. The charm doesn’t stop there, though, Ron and his son Michael also give stellar customer service. Always a pleasure stopping by and supporting this local business.”

“Was told by a friend that this might have the best burger she had ever had. Of course, i had to try it and it did not disappoint. I tried the smash burger and fries. The fries were are definitely shareable and were cooked perfectly. The smash burger amazing. Will definitely be back to try the Butcher Shop Burger in the near future.”

“Absolutely the best roast beef, Parmesan and greens salad I've ever eaten. The plain, rare, thinly sliced, roast beef using the premier cut that they serve is a decent portion with fresh shredded Parmesan and fresh, bitter greens. Excellent value for the quantity and quality.”

“High quality selections and friendly staffs. We don’t settle for packaged items found in most Asian groceries so we drive far to get their different varieties of lap cheung.”

“Grabbing grocery- and Costco-quality meat is very convenient and cost-effective, but if you have a little bit of time and a little bit extra to spend, the meat quality you find at Marina Meats will change your cooking. I've been coming here for a couple years now, and I always find myself excited to grab a ribeye or some sausages for dinner. And when you're working with quality, you're more likely to care a little bit more when you're cooking. Never have I looked at a clock while searing a poorly-marbled ribeye from Trader Joe's. But a bone-in dry-aged steak from Marina Meats? I'll count every second it's on the pan. This is also a great place to go if you need specialty animal products- they have an assortment of different bone broths and rendered fats as well. I love coming to Marina Meats, and I'll be back any time I'm craving a steak.”

“I love this market. I shopped there on a regular basis for 6 years, as all of the meat that they sell is fantastic. I will stop by there soon. I cooked for a living for several years. Great meat + herbs & spices that are hard to find. True butchers in the back as well. Also, great customer service! They are happy to give you the cut of what you want. Even more cool, they'll tell you how to cook the cut. Yes,5 stars! I'd give six stars if I could. I wish they could branch out a new market to the Inner Sunset ????.”
