Great location, rooms very clean and comfortable, looks recently renewed, nothing to claim, we had a nice stay.

I've stayed here a dozen times or more over the last 30 years. nice neighborhood. its absolutely totally fine. you can ding a hotel anywhere but for affordable nothing beats this and they are nice and have free parking and close to pier 39... haters should go stay at nearby $500 /night hotels and complain about those.
