“This store is awesome! Although it's located in a tough neighborhood, and some from their customer base are unpredictable, the store employees maintain a level of helpfulness and professionalism which makes shopping with them very pleasant. The store is well stocked with such a varied selection of grocery items you would think they needed are larger places. The prices for their store items are not inflated as such is the case with some stores close to that location. Very nice and attentive staff. You won't be disappointed after shopping at Amigos.”

“Downtown Grocery on Eddy St. (between Jones and Taylor St). is my #1 choice of grocery stores in my area. I shop there just about every day.They have everything you need. But what I like the most and is a game changer for me is and overall niceness. “Growing up in SF in the 80s and 90s this was one of the few middle eastern grocery stores around so we shopped here a lot. It's a different story today with many stores to choose from but the selection of products here is almost unmatched. The olive station in the back is amazing go check it out! Food is fresh and pans the Arab world. The Owen's are all good people, friendly and helpful. They also have a fresh halawa (halva) section that they slice and wrap for you. Right before you walk in you are hit with an array of spice smells that transports you to another world. Gives them a try and they just might become your go to middle eastern grocery spot.”

“This was the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever had. I got The Sunset sandwich and every bite was so flavorful I had no choice but to finish the whole thing. I’m not from this city but I would move here so I could eat this weekly.
I also love that they have a gluten free option to turn any sandwich into a salad for people who might need that.”

“The only Sandwich I’ve ever been to where they put “too much” on a “regular sandwich”. But that’s the thing these sandwiches ARE NOT REGULAR. The sandwiches are hefty and full of flavor. The possibilities are also endless.
On this particular visit I got the #20 and removed the roast beef. It was a very good sandwich. The next time I might try it with the roast beef instead of the pastrami get a different taste on the same sandwich.

“I actually discovered this place by chance while walking down the street late one night and made a point to come back the next day — and I’m really glad I did. The store is clean, beautifully set up, and has a wide selection of everything you’d expect from a great smoke shop.
Customer service was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, which made it even better.

“Trader Joe's is our favorite compact store for fresh produce, groceries,, food and many special products. Very reasonably priced.
They have bit limited but very good range of all range of alcohol from beers wines to liquor at modest prices.
Good friendly service at racks and checkout counters.”
“Fairly large local grocery store. Possibly overlooked and underrated for their fresh vegetables and fresh meat and seafood.
The packaged items are frequently from smaller vendors which aren't represented in larger grocery stores.
It is also one of the very few stores outside of the mission where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables that are ready to use on the day that you buy them.”
“Small but affordable and convenient. One line that went all the way to the back of the store. But, it was down the frozen isle which kept my colds cold and chilled my drink for me. 5 open registers and got to the front in 5min at most. Free parking which seems to always have available spots. The four stars is only because of how small the store is and I like to shop at the chain.”

“This market is one of the best deli/grocery /produce markets that I have ever come across! I live in the area and I will go only to this market because of the deli sandwiches hands down #1 and they offer whatever you would like on it and they make it very special and specific. The quality is priceless and the flavors are amazing. I have been coming here for more than 15 years and I'm always blown away of the service/quality and the items they offer in their store. Their location is perfect because they are always on the way to where you need to go, whether to the airport or just around town, it's so convenient. I recently have been there at least 4 times during the week to bring food to the nearby hospital CPMC for my family members visiting from France and locally and their experience was off the charts. Rutily's market is the place to go for everything you need.”
“This charming market is a perfect spot to pick up some Korean groceries and enjoy a quick meal. The prices are quite fair for a quick lunch or dinner, although a few of the ban chan items were a bit pricey. I absolutely loved the Korean fried chicken and the gimbap!”

“One of my favorite local grocery stores in SF. Have been coming here since it was the small location on Noregia. The upgrades they did for the market are incredible. The meat case always has a great selection, especially around the holidays. The sandwiches are a hit or miss, but I do appreciate that they have a punch card system. There is both street parking and underground parking.”
“These grocers set up the store approximately 5 years ago and I've been shopping there since day one. They have fresh produce daily, and a variety of meats and cheeses to fulfill your shopping list. It's definitely my go-to store for anything fresh.. the guys who own the store are cheerful and in most cases quite funny. If you can't find it, they won't hesitate to stop what they're doing to ensure you get what you need. I would recommend the store to anyone in the neighborhood or simply visiting.”

“I was surprised to see almost all the parking spaces filled today. Then I saw a long line out the door. I had no idea what was going on. Normally on Mondsy afternoon there is ample parking and the store is not super busy. Their new Spring tote bags were the reason for the crowds. My hat is topped to the managers and staff. The event was well organized. The grocery shoppers were allowed in, while those who wanted to purchase the popular canvas totes had their own line. All check out work spaces were filled with friendly polite staff. I did not purchase a tote, I just took a photo.”
“The Good Life Grocery in San Francisco California had the best, most delicious salads for our daughter, Rebel’s Picnic in San Francisco on our vacation with Deli Salads, lemon noodles, beet salad, Greek salad with olives and feta cheese. Good Life is a neighborhood treasure. Bernal Heights is Heaven.”
