Gus's Community Market is a favorite local grocery store in the Sunset, considered a gem and one of the best. The market is gorgeous, very clean, and has incredible upgrades. It offers an excellent range of fresh, unique, and high-quality products, including organic items, fresh fruits, beautiful flowers, and a great meat selection. The sushi is delicious, and the brioche bread is a must-have. While the sandwiches can be hit or miss, they have a punch card system. The store may be a little pricey but it is worth it for healthy food. The employees are wonderful, friendly, and treat everyone with respect. There is both street and underground parking available.
This is one of the best grocery stores I ever been to. It's very clean, friendly and has good products. Everytime I come here, I always get a sandwich and a soda. If the store owners are reading this, please keep the Maine Root soda in stock. I love how your store always has it available.

Gus’s market on Noriega is a gem and a treat to have in the sunset. Excellent range of fresh and unique products, fresh fruits and beautiful flowers. The employees here are wonderful and I can’t imagine shopping anywhere else on this side of town.

The brioche bread is a must have and all their products are organic. Nice selection and it may be pricy but definitely high quality. I tried their sushi, DELICIOUS. I definitely want to try their sandwiches out.
