βI love going to the farmers market on Sunday mornings. It's a really nice family outing. I really really like supporting all the local vendors. The prices are so much cheaper than the grocery stores, you get a lot more for your money. And, if your family receives CalFresh (EBT), you can use it at the farmers market citywide.β
βAmazing selection of produce as well as basic groceries and a huge selection of international foods and spices.always some produce prices you can hardly believe they are so low, and kind and helpful staff.β
β25th and Clement Produce is the corner store every neighborhood wishes it had. Itβs easily the most organized, cleanest, and most thoughtfully stocked market Iβve ever been in. Every piece of produce is clearly inspected and arranged with care, and you can tell the owners take real pride in what they put on the shelves.
The prices are excellent too β much of the produce is right in line with Andronicoβs, but the quality and freshness are consistently better.
And the best part? They make their own freshβsqueezed orange juice. Itβs honestly the best orange juice money can buy, and absolutely worth the trip even if youβre coming from farther away. Their OJ has made many a weekend brunch feel extra special.
The owners and staff are wonderful people as well β friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in the community.
Five stars all the way.β
βFairly large local grocery store. Possibly overlooked and underrated for their fresh vegetables and fresh meat and seafood.
The packaged items are frequently from smaller vendors which aren't represented in larger grocery stores.
It is also one of the very few stores outside of the mission where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables that are ready to use on the day that you buy them.β
βThe Good Life Grocery in San Francisco California had the best, most delicious salads for our daughter, Rebelβs Picnic in San Francisco on our vacation with Deli Salads, lemon noodles, beet salad, Greek salad with olives and feta cheese. Good Life is a neighborhood treasure. Bernal Heights is Heaven.β
βOne of my favorite local grocery stores in SF. Have been coming here since it was the small location on Noregia. The upgrades they did for the market are incredible. The meat case always has a great selection, especially around the holidays. The sandwiches are a hit or miss, but I do appreciate that they have a punch card system. There is both street parking and underground parking.β
βThe Mission District is a must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in authentic Latin culture and cuisine. Walking through the streets, youβre surrounded by vibrant murals, lively energy, and an endless lineup of Latin food spots that feel truly authentic.
One standout stop is Casa Guadalupe Supermarketβa treasure trove of Latin flavors, from fresh ingredients to specialty snacks and baked goods. Every corner of the Mission District feels full of life and community pride, and sampling the food here is like taking a bite out of local culture itself!β
βI stopped here because I was driving by and saw the prices on produce. This was a small market but they had a lot of stuff. Produce was ok but definitely reasonably priced. The people who work here are very helpful and friendly. I was very happy to stop by here.β
βGreat local market with an extensive selection of Vietnamese ingredients and packaged products as well as produce and a meat counter. They also have a small amount of other Asian ingredients they accept EBTβ
βI love this neighborhood spot! Great place to grab a yummy sandwich, 6 pack, etc. Owners are very friendly. Thankful to have a market like this in the area, as there aren't many other convenience stores nearby.β
βA bit expensive and not too many stands, so generally a limited selection of goods, but good for basic product, eggs, meat, bakery, etc. Go grab some things to snack on and walk to Golden Gate ?β
βGo for the produce. Great variety, selection and prices on all the fruits and vegetables. I fed my family the whole week on a very reasonably priced bag full of veggies.β
βLovely produce! Always try to stop here because the carrots, celery, kale, garlic, onions and lots else are head and shoulders above the rest! Parking is tough though and I live up and over Union (really big hill!) but we make the trek.β
βMy favorite mom and pop store to shop at. Owned by a wonderful family! They get to know there customers by name and have always treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. Highly recommend this store. They not only sell food and beverages they also carry sweaters, hoodies, beanies, gloves, sweatpants ECT. Also have barber clippers beard trimmers and much more!β

βGreat store! They have such a huge selection of produce and grocery at very reasonable prices. Love their new meat and cheese selection...staff is super friendly and helfpul...coming back here for sure!β
βOur go to place for Hispanic foods, they were out of the fruit jelly treats last time we went. They have 1L Coke in a glass bottle like when I was a child, everything tastes better in glass, no microplastics or aluminum to ruin it.β
βGreat family owned produced market. Been coming here since i was a kid. Great service, and the fruits/vegetables are always great quality. Stop by if you are in the area.β

βWhat A Tomato Produce is a wonderful place to buy produce. Their sales people are very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are very competitive and if you own a grocery store or restaurant or just need produce for your home it's a great place to shop.β
βGood store for daily needs though it's a small one but having all essential items. Their prices are quite reasonable and quality is good. Shop timings are also convenient. Owner and staff are honest and helpful.β
βWithout a doubt a good place, the truth is the new butcher is very well prepared to serve people although I have had to see that there are very demanding clients and the new guy serves them wonderfully, good staff and good butcherβ
βA family member lives nearby and this is his go to store in the neighborhood. Itβs big compared to the ones near my home. They have a good selection of milk specifically lactose free whole milk. Picked up a carton of milk, orange juice and 2 bananas for $12. I didnβt have time to schlep around town and was looking for convenience so worth it IMHO. Super friendly folks. Word is that their deli sandwiches are good but I didnβt try this time. Maybe next time.β
βit's shady around (and in) the place but they are great!
they'll make you feel welcome and safe no matter what.
also, if someone starts anything inside the store then they are quick to stop it and get rid of them!β
βI don't need much from a local produce store but this place regularly exceeds expectations. They have delicious baklava! And Kewpie mayo! And sprouts! And the produce are always very inexpensive.β
βthey open receiving at 10 pm you can come to market and pay to the security guard and wait inside the wearhouse after you pay 25$ cash fee . they let you park at front of docks .β
βIt's alright, its best feature is that it's close to me. Farmers sell organic produce but it's expensive. The pastry stand is not as good as I hoped. There are some nice prepared foods (dumplings, hummus, bread, honey) and sometimes a fish guy.It sort of covers all the basics but isn't impressive enough that I want to go weekly. The farmers market on Clement is better and I go there instead if I have time.β
βOn Tuesdays ~10:30 they have freshly-fried tempura vegetables (eggplant pumpkin green beans sweet potatoes) and shrimp in clean oil. They are most tasty when just-fried. However when Iβve warmed the leftovers in the oven on a wire rack and rimmed, parchment paper or aluminum foil lined sheet pan for 10-15 minute at 350 F they are still crunchy enough due to the baking powder and/or baking soda in the batterβ
