Haight Fillmore Whole Foods Co. is a charming neighborhood market known for offering hard-to-find items, including gluten-free breads, bagels, and specialty snacks. It provides a variety of CBD drinks and products typically found in larger grocery chains. Notably, this store is the original Whole Foods market in San Francisco, predating the well-known chain. While some customers find the prices a bit high, they appreciate the convenience and pleasant shopping experience without long lines. This grocery store serves as more than just a shopping destination; it acts as a community hub. Shoppers can stop by for fresh bagels, milk, and juice, and many locals support the store to help maintain small businesses in the area. Though it lacks price tags on items, which some find inconvenient, the friendly staff enhances the overall experience. However, some produce may not always be fresh, and the store is known for its compact size. Overall, Haight Fillmore Whole Foods Co. is a beloved local market that offers convenience and a sense of community.
They're supposed to take EBT, but their capabilities have been down for over a month.

Great neighborhood store. My only complaint is they don't put price on any of the items. I don't know how that's even legal ? no price tags ? Makes it very inconvenient.

It's the original Whole Foods, but no relation to the giant chain. They had the name so many years prior to the texas outfit that I guess they were's worth litigating.Decent corner store with appropriate stuff. Often the produce looks tired. The workers are super nice.
