“My partner and I moved into the neighborhood last August, and quickly fell in love with this local grocer. They have a great selection of produce, cheese, wine and pantry staples. If you're into cooking classic Asian dishes, you can find almost everything you need here without leaving duboce triangle! The shopping experience is far superior to the chaos of Safeway and the price gouging of Whole Foods, so please give this family business a try instead! Shop local to build community, friends!”
“Incredible store. Have been shopping Rainbow ? Grocery since it was in Mission Street. All sections excellent. Some variance and can some visits can be difficult to find a staff person on the floor.”
“I don't need much from a local produce store but this place regularly exceeds expectations. They have delicious baklava! And Kewpie mayo! And sprouts! And the produce are always very inexpensive.”
“We love our corner market - they pack an incredible amount into this relatively small space. The workers are exceptionally friendly and helpful; it's a breath of fresh air to find service of this quality. They're responsive to special requests for items that you'd like to see in stock. The seasonal produce is excellent and the price point is fair and reasonable.”
“Great place, very spacious, and that is why not crowded, has a good selection of products, including organic produce.
All people who work there, including customer service, are helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend this place.”
“Wonderful find. They are local and community minded. Have a great selection of gourmet foods, fabulous sandwich/deli, actually fresh vegetables you want to eat and more. Prices are higher than Safeway /Luckys, but the quality is sooo much higher. Staff is genuinely friendly. What's not to like? Highly recommend! Mangi.”
“this legendary bodega is conveniently placed in “the wiggle,” so i often stop here at the end of a long run. some of the best gatorade in town. make sure to stop in here if you need to re up electrolytes after a tough workout. the homie prefers cash but he’ll take your card if you’re chill”
“This place has a nice selection of vegan mock meats. I usually drive to Daly City to do a huge haul for mock meats. At the time I shopped there, it was cash only, not sure if they take cards now.”
“Wanted to leave positive feedback for Ameet. He recommended an awesome stimulant free pre workout. It’s obvious the guy has been in the supplement game for a long time. Def recommend coming by and picking his brain with any questions. Cheers!”
“I love this Whole Foods hot bar, but they have a homeless problem in spring-summer 2025. The past few months when I go into the store in afternoon and mostly evening I am horrified by homeless drug addicts pawing through the aisles and hot bar. Disgusted because that not sanitary.”
“Love this place since it’s one of the only places in the Bay I can get Taiwanese-imported vegetarian ingredients. The frozen dumplings, zhongzi, and other homemade goods in the freezer are also always delicious. Hope this place stays open forever.”
“I’ve been shopping at this location for almost 10 years. I really appreciate that the produce is typically organic. You can tell from the produce sticker number starting with a 9…The staff is friendly and treats you like family! Thank you, Nabilas!”
“very pricey but has great healthy options for grab-and-go foods (sandwiches, wraps, sushi) and basic groceries and household essentials you might need! for the ease of access to brand-name groceries in the mission, it's a good spot to check out. the staff are also very friendly!”
“I was walking back to my car in Chinatown when i I found this special store. I was tired of eating vacation food and ran to this store to find the most delicious bean salad by epicurean solutions I'm a diehard fan!!!! I'll be visiting the kind gentleman who was working that Labor Day morning and be a regular on the weekends when I'm in the city. I love when I find a good store! It becomes my go to spot”

“I always come in here to get protein powder and pre-workout. Great selection and they’re always doing some type of promo so you can try all different types. Juan is awesome. He answered a ton of questions for me and gave me some great recommendations on protein powders.
Mike is also fantastic- super knowledgeable.
Great location on market Street right across from equinox gym.”
“A massive thank you to one of your salesperson in the Deli department her name is Christine. I was really pleased the way she served me it was with kindness e knowledge of what she was selling. Thank you”

“I stopped by GNC today during my visit at SF. we have welcomed with smile, Consultant was Abdenasser, he is well equipped with all knowledge around products. He explained me well about the differences between two suppliments which I was undecided around which one covers my need. He informed me about GNC offers and answered my questions with details. Really appreciated overall experience. Thanks GNC to have good products and team members!”
“I parked in my pal Goo Shooter's garage there on Harrison street and he and I walked over to the Whole Foods to get lunch, he tells me it's the best deli in the city. He goes on and on talkin about this and that, and all the different kinds of sandwiches he's had, then he starts telling me about all the different types of delicious meats, and just when I thought he was finished he starts telling me about all the workers and their specialties. He says if you this or that..wait for that person...but, if you want one of these...wait for this person. Who the heck has time for that, I said! When my turn popped up, I asked for two sandwichs, one with imported ham from Spain with mustard and mayo, and one with smoked turkey, and please make them Gluten free.
And, let me tell you...all I can say is WOW! 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆”
“Very happy to have a market this great in our neighborhood. Sometimes the lines are long and sometimes the parking lot is full. That is the reality of having a great market in such a small square footage within a densely populated neighborhood. Shout out to the amazing cashiers who are fast efficient and charming.”
“This is my go-to grocery store both in brand and location - staff are professional helpful and kind ALWAYS and they’ve got some sweet deals from time to time plus a mean premade food lineup (mean as in yummy). Tad expensive but there used to be a huge difference in price between them and other stores now it’s kinda even. Freshest meats and produces by FAR. I also alternate walking and driving and am always able to find parking in the garage even on Sundays.”
“Good chain, typical of what you would expect from Whole Foods. Their produce is a bit expensive for the quality. They have a very large selection of higher end and alternative meat/dairy products.
While some products are on the more expensive side, everyday products are competitively priced (such as Dececco pasta).”
“Took my borzoi here for a self service bath and it was fantastic! Jen & Kristi took care of our needs. They both have intuition of what supplies and tools may be needed while also giving me and Maggie our own space to get her clean. I’m grateful for this service and you can really tell that they care about providing an excellent service. Thank you! Love supporting this small business ♥︎”
