Vegefarm is a clean and brightly lit one-stop grocery shop for all vegetarian and vegan cravings in San Francisco's Sunset neighborhood. It is an established Taiwanese frozen foods manufacturer, around since 1996. The store offers a very large selection of vegetarian meat substitutes, with multiple freezers containing bulk proteins and smaller portions of both pre-seasoned and unflavored options. Products include vege chicken chunk, mock beef, vegan fish tofu, imitation pork floss, veg sausage, imitation bacon, corn soup, and fresh homemade veggie dumplings. The prices are super reasonable, with many options under ten dollars, allowing for protein substitution without significantly altering a budget. The person working there is nice, helpful, and speaks English. The store focuses on Taiwanese and Asian-style products, making it a great place to find imported stuff hard to find in the US, and does not carry more Western foods like veggie burgers. It is a well-stocked, pure veg natural food store where customers can replicate their favorite dishes at home.
This place has a nice selection of vegan mock meats. I usually drive to Daly City to do a huge haul for mock meats. At the time I shopped there, it was cash only, not sure if they take cards now.

Great mix of vegan and vegetarian. The vegan beef tendon rocks.

"Vege chicken chunk" 👍 Tastes like Taiwanese popcorn chicken. It's already seasoned. Just pan fry it. Good stuff. (Vegefarm is an established Taiwanese frozen foods manufacturer, around since 1996. Made in Taiwan, not China) Happy to support this little direct-to-consumer shop in SF
