Tucked away off of busy Fillmore Street, there is a wide range of offerings packed into this small spot. The selections are well-curated and can be both practical and wonderfully decorative at the same time. During a recent trip, I picked up several of the Baggu brand reusable bags, as they carry a good selection of these bags. I also found some lovely glassware and whimsical geometric coasters for the perfect birthday gift. The staff was also helpful and courteous, as they have been on all my trips there. Along with checking out the fun gift cards and writing instruments, one can spend a lot of time perusing the different and interesting selections of hair accessories, as well as attractive items for decorating the home. The variety of items and reasonable price points make post.script a spot not to be missed.”

“Watch Repair - Battery Replacement - Cliffs Variety thanks!!Trying to find a watch repair shop in the city is hard. I needed my fossil watch’s battery replaced and it needed a special tool to crack her open without scratching the watch. I go to cliffs and the nicest guy takes my watch and 5 minutes later the battery is replaced and she’s ticking! If you need a new watch battery go to cliffs! It was $5! Talk about service affordability. Thank you cliffs associate!”

“Moved into a new home and needed to start from scratch. Joey helped us out over multiple visits and was both professional and friendly. He is in tune with latest trends and tastes so he can definitely guide you if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. He was patient and thorough in showing options that fit to your needs such as your room size, tv size, viewing distance, household size, etc. He does push you to put a deposit down but I understand that’s the nature of his job in sales.
I bought multiple big items: sofa, tv stand, dining table & chairs, and a dresser. They aren’t the highest quality items but for the price, I am satisfied with them. Beats out a lot of direct to consumer brands in terms of value. Not the most stylish but functional and comfortable.
The delivery was a great experience as well. The crew was careful with both the furniture and my home/ hardwood floors. They took off their shoes without asking and used a thick blanket of sorts for protection.”

“Inga was a great help in selecting fixtures for an entire home while we were preparing it for sale last year. She made what could have been an overwhelming task so much easier, with her expert suggestions. I know from experience there is a lot that can go wrong with selecting light fixtures... from not enough light, to wrong scale, and more. Inga kept us from making costly mistakes, and the project turned out great. The customer service was excellent, and there's nothing like being able to see the actual fixtures in person at the store before you order them. Inga helped us pick out at least 12 sets of lights, and we didn't have to return or change any of them. When a glass shade was broken for one of the fixtures, she got us a replacement quickly. I highly recommend using Inga's design services. For a larger project like ours, she might visit your site in person. Otherwise, you will need to send her photos.”

“Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by Yury's to see if he could replace the cord on an old Hollywood Regency/Chinoiserie accordion fan lamp. I had accidentally dropped a heavy water bottle on it, breaking the cord in half. Yury was very friendly and helpful, and he was transparent about pricing. His estimate for just replacing the cord was so reasonable that we also decided to have him update the lightbulb socket and add velvet underneath the lamp to prevent it from scratching our furniture. He completed all the work in under three hours, and we picked it up later in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and plan to bring in another old lamp to have the wiring updated.”

Purchased soil and it is so dark and smells like earth should!I especially love that pet friendly plants are marked (with adorable paw prints) as both my cat and dog like to graze if they somehow manage to get up to the plants.”

“10/4/2024: I'd been looking forward to visiting Succulence for months, ever since my plant collection exploded with a particular fondness for succulents. I happened to be in the Bernal Heights neighborhood, so decided to finally check them out. Unfortunately, when I arrived I discovered a karate school at the address listed for Succulence. A lady inside told me they had been closed since sometime in June.
The owners have responded to other comments, stating that despite the closure of their brick and mortar store you can still contact them regarding workshops and other events. Closing a business is incredibly difficult, and I'm glad to hear they're still up and running (even if it's at a reduced capacity). To those leaving negative reviews because they arrived to find the store closed: stop. For you it's a minor inconvenience, but for the owners it's so much more. That said, it would be helpful if they added a banner on the website's homepage letting customers know the physical store closed. I wish them the best with their future ventures, and hope I get the opportunity to visit another Succulence location someday.”

“One of the best Incense vendors in USA. Seriously. They have very high quality incense, especially for people who don’t like the incense because it’s ‘Smokey’ - that’s because most incense sold is low quality.
The lady who runs the store guides you through the collection and has great tips on how to get the best out of incense.
Great for gifts as many of the products have lovely packaging.
One of the best finds when in San Francisco.”

They did not have a large selection of plastic grow pots or drainage trays (minus 1 star), but nice pots and very kind attendant. Also had a good selection of basket planters that were handwoven but a little out of budget for me.

“Exactly the classic China Rain scent I have been looking everywhere for since Terranova stopped producing it. Shipped quickly and beautifully packaged. Now that I know the level of quality I will be buying many oils. Can't find this stuff in rural Colorado but as an Ojai, CA native I am so glad I came across this shop (in a reddit discussion)! Thank you! I ordered a couple sampler packs as well so will leave reviews on those when they get here! Can't wait! Only advice is to sell on etsy if you aren't already as I am sure others are looking for this particular China Rain or other Terranova discontinued scents. I ordered many others off there with great disappointment each time. So glad Life is in my life now!”
