The Insect Zoo at the SF Zoo is a fascinating and educational preservation for insects, featuring many different species on display. It is an absolute must-see for anyone interested in the world of insects, from brightly colored butterflies to creepy crawly spiders. One of the most thrilling exhibits is the hive of killer bees, offering a mesmerizing and slightly terrifying close-up experience. Another standout is the snow bee display, showcasing resilient creatures adapted to harsh environments. While some exhibits may be intimidating and send chills down the spine, the staff is knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Visitors should note that people with entomophobia and trypophobia must stay away. The wider SF Zoo is a clean and decent place, not overly large and easy to stroll through, with beautiful, well-taken-care-of exhibits and facilities. It offers a pleasant day out with plenty of seats and places to eat, making it a good way to get steps in. While the price may be on the higher side, it remains a worthwhile visit, especially with a discount.
Amazing exhibit. The giant wood cockroach and the giant African centipede was terrifying though; I would never approach those if it was not for the enclosed space. Otherwise though, the others were interesting and fun to discover and learn about.

Stunning! The exhibits are beautiful and the facilities are well taken care of.The train they have is so cute. Not a long ride but nice. Not sure it's worth the price but it's nice to support the zoo.
