It is a go-to spot for good sandwiches, with a big menu offering many to choose from, including the Parkside Special, Veggie Delight, Buffalo Ranch, Crossing the Bay, Hayes and Lyon, and Escape from Alcatraz. The sandwiches are consistently great, amazing, and legit. They are super fresh, delicious, and everything one could hope for. Portion sizes are big and huge, offering a fair price. They come on a choice of bread, with popular ingredients like turkey, ham, cheese, avocado, bacon, and various toppings. The sandwiches hold up well, even on trips, without getting soggy. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Orders can be placed in-store or online for pickup, with both systems being easy and seamless. DoorDash delivery is also available. While there is no inside seating, its location is really close to nearby parks, making it ideal for picnics. The market also has a wide selection of chips and alcohol. Crafting the sandwiches takes time, but it is worth the wait. This place is highly recommended.
The only thing keeping me from 5 starts is no listed prices on almost everything except the sandwiches. It’s an shockingly sketchy practice for such a neighborhood gem. I hope the owners read this and fix the issue.
