The Royal Pacific Motor Inn is noted for its extremely good and convenient location at the heart of Chinatown, within walking distance of Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf, Little Italy, and piers. It serves as an excellent home base for exploring San Francisco on foot, with many dinner options and attractions nearby. The rooms are described as a bit outdated or old, but also as very clean, tidy, fresh-smelling, comfortable, and pretty good. Some rooms offer excellent views. A fantastic perk is the free parking for guests, with valet service available as the parking is a little tight. The staff receive consistent praise, being called super helpful, outstanding, really kind, and sweet, with great customer service. The hotel is considered relatively affordable, cheap, and a fantastic choice for the price point, offering good value. Additional amenities include a coin-operated self-service washer and dryer. Many guests state they would definitely stay here again.

We love it there everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Location was THE BEST, we enjoyed our walk to pier 39 and tried the restaurants down the block. We will stay here again.... very affordable for a 1 night stay.
