The Marker San Francisco is a unique, quaint, and cozy hotel near Union Square. The lobby is beautiful with big sitting areas and an amazing fireplace, and the outside of the building is lit up blue, giving a modern feel. Rooms are clean, modern, and a good size, with some being spacious suites. They are quiet with no street noise. Guests note the comfortable, soft beds with fluffy, good-quality pillows and top-notch sheets, ensuring a good night's sleep. Bathrooms are nice and large, some with a large jacuzzi tub. The staff is generally very friendly, polite, kind, and helpful, with exceptional, attentive service from the front desk and management noted. The valet service is also highlighted as very good. The hotel includes a tasty Italian restaurant with decent food that is not too expensive; recommendations include the spaghetti and meatballs and the book kickin’ old fashioned drink. Amenities include complimentary free waters, reusable bottles with watering stations throughout, and free morning coffee in the restaurant. Some guests also received nice touches like a plate of snacks or a complimentary bottle of wine. The location is conveniently located on the edge of good and bad, with a food and liquor store directly across the street. Valet parking is $75, but there is a convenient self-parking garage next door for a lower rate. The hotel is considered safe, with a secured door and a comfortable, safe feeling inside. Overall, it is highly recommended as a nice, safe, and clean choice for both business and leisure stays.

By far the best hotel in SF. Not just the location — the staff makes it everything. Especially Charles, who’s been so kind during our stay. You guys rock! Thanks for the amazing hospitality—definitely coming back:) By the way, I’m obsessed with the fireplace!!!

The two of us stayed here for one night for an event in-town. The location is very central and all of the staff were exceptional - very professional and happy to help accommodate us. We travelled with a pet would definitely consider staying here again!
