Hotel G is an immaculately updated, lovely boutique hotel in a really nice, walkable location near Union Square. It is close to lots of good food, a train station, public transportation, and venues. The common spaces and rooms are beautiful, stylish, comfortable, and cute with so much charm. The staff is super nice and helpful. However, some challenges affect the stay. Top-floor rooms can have non-functional air conditioning, making it tough to stay comfortable in warm months. Some rooms, while looking great, are not fully functional for a longer stay. Issues include uncomfortable beds, terrible pillows, very small bathrooms with no counter space, a lack of hooks for hanging things, and no in-hotel coffee aside from pods in the room. The hotel partners with the Hilton for parking, which is extremely expensive and not very convenient. The location can also be a little noisy at night. Overall, it is a very mid experience for the price, but many would consider staying again.
The hotel is conveniently located near Union Square, and the front desk staff is very welcoming. Aaron and Tyler are friendly and ensure that the check-in process is smooth.

Very well located hotel right next to Union Square and 10 minutes from Moscone Center. The only downside was that my shower would take a long time to heat up - but besides that it was all perfect and Id recommend staying at Hotel G

Honestly most of the staff was fantastic. There was an older man behind the counter working the nightshift who was extremely rude to me. Maybe he was just having a rough day but it still took me off guard. Other than that the room was clean and the location was great.
