“It was late Saturday afternoon and I had a last minute ride scheduled for Sunday. My road bike had been sitting on the trainer for the past few years and needed a checkup / tune up before I hit the road again. I called around to find a shop that could fit me in on short notice and was fortunate to find this one. Met Joe at the shop who was able to squeeze my bike in ahead in order to make sure it was done by end of day. Went to pick it up after a few hours and it was ready right as they were about to close. They are open fairly late compared to other shops. Service was attentive and top notch, he even did some additional repair and adjustments without additional charge. Price for the tune up was very reasonable and competitive. Will return again!”

“It actually started with me quietly trolling Allez LA’s Instagram and developing mad respect for their style. I loved the way they support the bike community, stand up for their neighbors, and clearly have a lot of fun doing it.
At the time I had a bike that just never quite worked for me. The frame size felt off, the wheels were not right, and I could not get comfortable on the trails. I brought it to Shawn hoping he could help me figure out what was going on.
First step was connecting me with Abe at Bici Fitting. He patiently listened and worked absolute wizardry dialing everything in so I could ride with comfort and precision. He even identified the need for a small shim in my right shoe insert. That level of detail blew my mind.
From there Shawn and the entire Allez team spent months sourcing parts, solving problems, and building what has now become my dream bike and best friend.
They did not miss a single detail. Communication was excellent, the service was fun and friendly, and the depth of knowledge and style in that shop is next level.
I have never been more stoked to ride and I am having more fun on the trails than I have in forever. This crew truly got me back out there riding with confidence again, and for that I am incredibly grateful.

“I can’t say enough good things about David and the Pasadena Shop. I was vacillating between several bikes: a Gazelle T10, a Specialized Vado, a Diamond Back Response, and a Bulls Iconic. I test drove the first few. But I could not find a Bulls bike to test drive anywhere but San Diego and San Francisco… until I called Open Trails. I caught David at his shop doing paperwork on a Sunday and he opened up for me to come over. David had a Bulls Copperhead bike with a soft tail, very comparable to the BULLS ICONIC EVO TR 2 SPEED that was on my short list. He gave me a lot of valuable info about Bulls bikes and I loved the feel of the one I rode. He offered me a great price for the model I wanted and the size that would be perfect for me. I agreed on the spot. He recommended better pedals than the ones that come with the bike, so I found a good pair online for $20. He ordered the bike and had it all put together in his shop in a few days. It was perfectly assembled when I arrived and looked awesome! Black and Silver, with all the bells and whistles of a German E-Bike: aluminum frame, Bosch Gen 4 motor, 625 wh battery, super comfortable saddle, dropper post, and a detailed and easy-to-read Kiox display, to name just a few. He made several micro-adjustments over the next hour as I took multiple rides up and down his street. He helped me get it up on my rack and strapped down. I've got an old rack and he told me he would have much better racks on sale for $250 in a couple weeks. I’ll be calling him soon. David is a really nice, well-informed, trustworthy guy. He's also an E-bike lover. He was every bit as excited about my new ride as I was! Thanks, David. Thanks Open Trails. FIVE STARS!”

They have been able to do the work & prices have been reasonable. These days they request you book an appointment online vs just showing up.”
“The owner is a very knowledgeable lady who really knows her stuff. My e-bike’s rear tire was damaged because it got stuck on a stapler, and I was worried it might happen again. If she hadn’t told me about the options between air-filled and solid tires, I honestly wouldn’t have known. Thanks to her advice, I chose a solid tire, and my bike was repaired perfectly.
She also repaired it super fast — I dropped it off at noon, and it was ready to pick up in the afternoon! Repairing an e-bike can be quite complicated since you need to remove the rear motor, but she handled it very professionally.
After changing to the solid tire, I felt the ride was a bit bumpier than before, with some shaking. She quickly found the reason and added a small cushion pad in the wire box to reduce the vibration. She also helped adjust my seat to make it more comfortable and better balanced, since I didn’t have much experience with e-bikes before.
Now it rides very smoothly, and I don’t have to worry about the tire breaking again. I’m very satisfied with the repair.
Highly recommended! She is professional, friendly, and quick, and the price is very reasonable.”

Not only was the work they performed on my mountain bike top-notch, it was done quickly and at about half the price of the larger bike shops I checked with when I was pricing out these repairs.
