“This is one of the larger Ace hardwares . Hassett stores also seem to carry more of a selection of products. They had everything I was looking for and you can actually find help from employees that know their store. So much better than that orange box place. If they had cheaper prices and carried lumber they would put all other hardware stores out of business.”
“Great place to shop. The yard personal are super helpful and give you plenty of time to pick out the material that best fits you needs. No climbing up or into racks to sort through the lumber.
Always make you feel welcome.”
“I am so glad I found this store!! I went in looking to see if they had horse related items and they DID!!! I found halters, fly spray, supplements, dewormers, brushes, hoof picks and shavings. I know they also have pellets/grains too. It had everything I needed! And they have Peepers! If you don't know what they are, they are really fun and useful reading glasses. Staff were super helpful and kind. This will be my go-to place for sure!!”
“i’ve been going to this store for probably 40 years. the items they carry are largely geared to the local homeowners, as well as equestrian folks. people who work there are always nice. the prices are a little higher than home depot but considering the convenience i never think twice about it.”
“If you're looking for the perfect New Year's Day vibe, look no further. We stopped by the San Gregorio General Store on January 1st and it was absolutely the place to be. Live band playing, energy was high, and the whole atmosphere just felt like a celebration.
There's something special about this spot. It's got that old-school general store charm but comes alive with music and community. Everyone was in great spirits, the band was fantastic, and it reminded me why these hidden coastal gems are worth the drive.
Can't wait to come back on another weekend with live music. If you haven't been, make the trip.”
